Well, ive only been on dejavu once. The reason I dont like it is because when I went on the harness didnt go down all the way. Going up the first lift on my stomach scared me half to death. I litteraly had to hold the harness in myself. If I do go on again, is there anything that will prevent that from happening again?

It couldve been the ride ops fault. He/she might of secured the train before your harness was down all the way. I could be wrong but you never know, that rides a piece of sh*t.
The restraint will only go down so far until it will not lock anymore. They also have seatbelts to help hold you in. If there was a lot of play it was most likely at its last locking point and there were no further ones.

They were crew of the year..

Very simple. Look at the crewmemeber that is checking your restraint and tell them " I bet you can't staple me." They will gladly take care of your problem, and you will be safe and secure.
Most of the Deja Vu crew from last year knew my ugly mug well, and I never had to worry about falling out.
Whether or not you'll be able to breathe may be another story....
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

I think he's saying that there was a lot of slack in the harness when he pulled it all the way and it didn't go to the next click. It happens to me all the time and Im 135ibs
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
Now, ive heard that it's because when I went on it I buckled my seatbelt and then immediatly after that I pulled down my harness, when I was supposed to wait.
All you gotta do is strap yourself down like any other ride. Deja Vu isn't any different harness wise, it just feels different because of the 90 degree tower. If you are still uncomfortable, just ask someone to push it down as hard as they can on you, i've had a couple kids ask me to do that before. Don't worry about it and definitely give the ride another chance.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
