I get your point, but I can't see a darn thing. After the park closed (at 7:05), I could see the lifeguards from the parking lot in line for the ride, and going on it. Some of them were screaming loud.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
I think the people who rode Tornado early are the lifeguards. This past weekend there were people on wahoo racers and they were testing the Skull Island. I think they are just testing to make sure all the slides are running fine before opening weekend.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.

Thats not true, others were riding it as of about 6:30 AM.
I dont like those green rafts....are they going to have the yellow clover leaf ones?

Yeah definitely wasn't expecting the green rafts. I'd prefer the yellow ones, but since I'm usually only going to be with 1 other person, the green ones are good.
Yesterday, I had only seen the yellow rafts, and now on that media thing I see green ones. So, they must have both. The green ones show up on tv more.

Hopefully people will be smart enough when deciding which one to use...

One of either two things is correct: 1) you are incorrect and the only people who were riding were park/ProSlide employees (and perhaps media, but I doubt it) or 2) a few lucky people who aren't employees got to ride at ~6:30am, but that shortly ended and no other non-park employees were allowed on it the rest of the day.
It really doesn't matter as a lot of print media and CBS and WGN covered the event, but I thought I would chime in for the sake of accuracy anyway.
The Tornado did not open to the people inside Media Day. Only the life gaurds rode it. All media day consisted of is the wave pool, 6 slide complex, family slides and 4 tube slide complex.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
That drop scares me and thrills me every time. It's amazing. I can't wait to try out the one in St. Louis, I hear it's better. I heard this from a lifeguard.
Am I the only one who thought the ride was pretty boring? I've had much better drops in the Dells and you didn't get anywhere near as high as you did on Stringray in the Dells. I thought it was a big borefest.
