Hello, I'm going to Chi town from June 20-27th, mostly for Emerica's Wild in the Streets event. I live in Northern California and have been to PGA like 150 times and super familar with the park. So tell me about your park and give me tips and what not. How crowded do you think it will be on June 22nd a Thursday. I'm also stoked that the park is open til 9pm, thats kickin rad, PGA closes at like 6 on weekdays becuase you will get shot if you leave the park when its dark. Any chance of Deja Vu being open?

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Location: waiting to ride the next big rollercoaster.

For the most part, D Vu' was open alot last year. As of last weekend, it wasn't open though. That's considering that the train wasn't even fully on until Sunday. So, my bet is that it will be open. However, just because I say it might be open doesn't guarantee that it will. For instance, in 2004 it supposedly got stuck in the cobra roll, and it was down for a week or so. So, that could happen again. However, it October it closes due to the weather. That's a  .

Hurricane Harbor is a free waterpark located through SouthWest Territory by the Viper. It is open at 11 and closes at 7. Considering that V2, and Deja Vu have only one train, they will probably be the best things to ride to begin as they are usually really packed. Raging Bull can have 3 trains for a really busy day. The rides in the back of the park are usually not that packed so I would say for you to go on them later. These are Iron Wolf, and American Eagle.

The mouse coaster no matter what line you see (for the most part) always seems to take forever (Zampela Twister called Ragin Cajun). It may leave you with bruises. J/k somewhat. Some of the most packed flats in the park are Ricochet (Huss Swing Around), East River Crawler, (Octopus), Rue Le Dodge (Bumper Cars), King Chaos, and Giant Drop.

The Triple Play like your park is gone even though it's not permament. It might be up, and running by that time, but I really doubt it. The base went off to SFOT. The ship in the front of the park is Space Shuttle America, and it is a motion simulator ride. People say that it's not worth it. It has indeed gone back to the original movie. Parking is $15. I think your park has a Calpyso III, and so do we (Fiddler's Fling). We both have Demons, and that Merry Go Round in front of the park. I think your Orbit is gone, but we have ours. Your Tidal Wave is gone, and so is ours.

I want to know about Invertigo!!! Could you tell us about it in the general coaster section topic? Please??

Yea, I know I've been to PGA like 150 times. The last year Greased lightin(tidal wave) was open I rode it 83 times in a row in the back row.

Invertigo is pretty good...its cool to look at your friends when your riding, its got some good G's going backwords into the loop but its a Vekoma so its kinda rough.

You got it backwords, Deja Vu is an Invertigo wanna be, it wants to be yellow, have cool trains and not be closed/valley every other day.

Deja Vu is taller!! How is the line for that ride (Invertigo)? Is it really packed like our ride? Is yours the same place where ours is (former Sky Whirl)? Does it have stairs by the cobra roll? I'm looking at rcdb.com, and it doesn't have any??? You are only going one day to SFGAm? There are alot of rides you might want to ride, and get rerides on.

Rides that seem very different in coaster sense are the American Eagle, Deja Vu (90% mattered when I went on a regular boomerang at GL), Viper, V2, Superman, Raging Bull, Ragin Cajun (spinning mouse coaster), and Whizzer. The rides I see somewhat the same are Iron Wolf, Batman The Ride (Batman the Ride has more inversions than Top Gun.), and Demon of course.

I rode Two Face at SFA, and it was horrible. I thought most Vekoma boomerangs are OK, the Giants are good, but scary. Two Face was the only Inverted Boomerang i've ridden (other than Vu here, and SFOG). I think DejaVu will really impress you if Invertigo is as bad as Two Face. Hope you have fun on your trip. SFGAm is a better than PGA to the millionth power.

There are probably some bugs that they have to fix with it still, but the weather isn't helping either.

They put water dummies on the train!!! They were also moving the catch car up and down to simultate where the catch car would release the train on tower one.

So, does anyone think it will be open by May 26th? because that's my next trip, and I really want to get a couple rides on Deja Vu. But I guess if it isn't open by then there's not really anything i can do about it.

To me, the second catch car isn't even in the right place for it to start testing. Until that's fixed, it's not going to go. It's the place where it would brake down. It catches the train in the wrong spot, and then they have to let it go all the way down to unhook it, and rehook it again. That's the position it's in. Maybe, they need another motor for that second tower two.
