I was at the park today for the first time this season and i noticed what an improvement the park has made since last year or any other year. There are new paint jobs on American Eagle, Ricochet, the Iron Wolf Station, and just little buildings around the park. There is also not only Looney Tunes walking around the park, besides the Justice League if you go into say SWT there are cowboys walking around for pictures, also if you go into County Fair there was a Mayor, a farmer, and a grandma with a basket. For the first time in a while i was actuly proud of six flags for these little improvements that seem to make the park better, it felt more like a Paramount's park and i really enjoyed it.
All the characters also appear at the front of the park before 10AM now too. The changes are very good and is making a great impact on guests

I agree with you. On opening day I was really surprised at the amount of characters that were out, even though it was raining. Ricochet looks really good with it's new paint, as does American Eagle. I also really liked the brand new directional signs that are in place all over the park.
Thats true and the park cleaned up a little bit. Yes it is a big improvement for the park I hope this happens every season. The only thing that sucks is how expensive the ticket is and most meals on some food booths costs $8 I see more business for BK outside the park.
IW's station was painted? I didn't even notice. Guess I was distracted by the whores that were stalking me. And when I had walked past Ricochet, it looked newly painted but I thought it was just me imagining things.

Definitely agree with you here. Those signs throughout the park were a great addition and i, too, thought Ricochet has never looked better.
And to add to what others have posted, the jumping jester was single handedly the coolest character the park has had, it was like fright fest all over again, only instead of chasing me to scare me, he wanted a high five.

Are the people that look like "Greasers" actually part of the characters that SFGAm has hired, or are they just really people? They have really "big hair", and I seen them around Hometown Square.

Yeah, I saw them twice, once in Carousel Plaza and once walking around under the big American Eagle games tent. They waved to me twice each time. Are they supposed to look like someone, becuase I have no clue.

well the station was not completly repainted but it was more of the roof that was.
All around it seems that the park is finally aknowledging that we are there.
Example: the jester can into the queue of Ragin' Cajun and sort of pumped us up.
Also making me spit out my gum, thanks for not letting me choke to death
I noticed while waiting for V2 that on the very bery front of the train (the "bumper things that taps the top of the tower if you accually go that high) and the back, there is a sticker. I don't know what the back one is but the front one is a scared face.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I was thinking the same thing. I have been there twice this year, and have yet to see one attendent. I must add though, that the bathrooms were extremly clean.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.
I've seen bathroom attendents almost everytime I've used the bathroom this year. But think about it, you can only keep the bathroom so clean, these guys MUST have other stuff to do.
Anyways I love the "fabolous" lady and her guy companion with the megaphone.

I think i was in that line with you because i remember him asking someone to spit out his gum.
Anyways, I didn't see a bathroom attendant either, however, the bathrooms were very clean like everyone else said.

They painted the Gazebo in Hometown Square the ugliest color combination known to man!

Yes, the bathroom attendants are there. In fact, when you first enter the bathrooms, some of them have a sign on the wall with a picture of the bathroom attendant that day including his name.
Agreed on the gazebo in HTS. The color combination is really awkward but otherwise it looks new from the paint job.
Alot of the new characters walking around the park are from the outside company that is hired for Fright Fest to do the characters. Don't know if JPM productions is being used during the regular season now or if these people that worked for JPM are hired directly from the park.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
