No shirt, no service?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hey guys, I had a question in regards to Hurricane Harbor. Last summer I got second degree burns on my shoulders from a waterpark and no sun screen and I was wondering if Hurricane Harbor allows guys to ride all of the slides and things with shirts on? If anyone knows, i would appreciate it because i couldn't seem to find anything about it in the park policies page.

You can go into the waterpark, and use the attractions there with a shirt on, theres no problem.

Nope, I went on the speed slides last year and they made me take off my shirt and hold onto it while I went down.

I remember that Tom was told that he couldnt wear his shirt on the purple and blue speed slides. But, listen to him, he has done it before.

Use sun screen and save your skin. SPF 30 does the job, try Coppertone Sport...its waterproof and works great. :)
We should all remember to be thankful to have a world-class theme park like Six Flags Great America here in our local area!

As said above, you can wear your shirt on all the attractions except the two speed slides.

The speed slides however, all you need to do is take off your shirt and hold onto it while you go down. And you can put it on right when you get off again so you don't have to worry about getting burnt.

Will put it simpler, than above. If it's a Tube Slide you are good with a shirt, body slide, bare skin and trunks only.

I am a lifeguard at the water park and one of the rules that we have is that you can not have shirts on on the speed slides. But, you can have them on, on the other slides, and in the wave pool.
