It doesn't look like they have any bands or artists playing this year. I know they had Disney Channel performers and stuff last year. I was hoping that maybe Shapiro and Snyder could bring in some more big name people.

Isn't he part of the permanent shows and entertainment? If so, did they release that list yet?

That isn't everything. They don't have the shows and all the concerts on there yet. SFOG has a Disney Channel concert, and so must we. We had one last year, and they did also. Seriously, there are more concerts than one!!! There is nothing in July or August for goodness sakes. They don't even have Fright Fest listed in October.???

By the looks of the schedule on Manny's website it doesn't look like they're going to be playing at SF this season.

What?

Seriously, that's a shame that Manny B is not going to be playing at Sf this year. I really enjoyed watching him during Fright Fest.

i think the coasters for a cause event will be really nice. The disney park jam thing might still happen, since they haven't mentioned anything about the SWT show this year. Who knows, maybe they're still working on it.

Or, you know, you can just go on rides and act like a normal person instead of making a joke about someone's handicap.

From the looks of things they have only released the special events. Manny B was part of the regular entertainment season so they could still be working on it. None of that has been released yet.

I hope they bring back the X-Games tour again this year! I took my nephew last year since he is a little skater boy and it was awesome!

Second, its not a handicap.

It is a handicap. But I'm not going to start an arguement over something as silly as this because you want to grow up in your sterile world...

Okay, i have time. Explain to me why its a handicap O brilliant one.

Keep in mind that I have been taking American Sign Language classes for the past three years. I know more about the hard of hearing and deaf culture than the average person.

Cocky maybe? Sure.

I don't know how better to define "handicap" than what's right here. Whatever they're teaching you in your sign language class to keep the handicap from feeling bad is wrong.

Are you freakin kidding me?!?! :o How does being deaf interfere with one's life. Gee, I don't know, maybe because they cant hear therefore making it difficult to communicate with anyone who doesn't know Sign Language

I understand that you want everyone to be treated equally. I'm in no way being discrimative against the hard of hearing, but let's be realistic, they don't function like normal people. I'm not saying they don't do as much as regular people, I'm just saying they don't do it the "normal" way.

That definition indicates that a handicap is temporary because it interfere's with one's normal functioning, not society's. Obviously, however a person hard of hearing functions is their "normal" way of functioning, so by that theoretically no one at all is handicapped because they are comparing themselves to themselves.

Have you heard of a TTY?
A relay service?
AOL instant messanger?
Email?
Text messaging?
A paper and pen?
Gestures?

I know I could EASILY go for a whole day without speaking 1 word to anyone.

People these days.
