Another Eagle Rehab Update

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby [jonrev] on March 29th, 2006, 6:20 pm
DEMON WAS TESTING TODAY!!! I saw it crest the lift and go down the first drop when I went to take pics of AE Rehab. Then I saw it test again from the Office Buildings across I94. I have footage of it going around the first turn until the second loop but my crappy camera didnt get a clear enough shot. :( The decal from FF is still on the front cars. :D

Here are new shots of American Eagle being Rehabbed. They have started working on the crest of the lift and a few days ago I saw them working on the first drop.

EDIT: This will be the last Eagle Rehab Update. Don't ask why.

Testing is well...testing. Nothing to really go psycho over.
The logo is a plus though.

Rehab looks nice.

Rides do get certified by the state every year..not a big deal

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

The helix on the Eagle is repainted, and man does it look sweet. The red, white, and blue really stand out now.

Expertly played :)

Anyone know of any pics anywhere of this repainting, Eagle does look really nice when it's freshly painted, especially when they paint the rails and handrails (I dont think they painted the rails last time, though it was in the middle of a 4 year retracking project)

I will try to head up that way tommorrow to get some pics. It looked like everything was painted, but I must add that the white really didn't stand out as much as the red, and blue. The hills appeared painted as well, but the lift hill, and the first drop did not look painted at all.

Sorry I couldn't get a closer shot down Washington Street, but I was on a tight schedule.

Its kind of hard to tell from this perspective, but beleive me, it has been painted.
