SFGAm Nostalgic Mementos (With Pictures)

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Most of these items are from more than ten years ago (with the exception of one.)
I'm not selling any of these (unless someone wants to buy them?), just wanted to share.

Items Number One and Two:
Commemorative Six Flags Great America Miniature Teacup and Saucer

Unfortunately, the saucer has smudges on it.

The teacup is in perfect condition, though.

Item Number Three:
Six Flags Great America's Shockwave Collector's Pin, still in its original backing

Item Number Four:
Six Flags Great America Commemorative Picture in Silver Mirror-Backed Frame

Item Number Five:
1993-Era Park Map Printed on the Front of a Six Flags Envelope

Item Number Six:
1993-Era Park Ticket for a Private Picnic at SFGAm

Image

Item Number Seven:
Great America Animal Club Pencil Box (Pre-Six Flags)

And my complimentary Fastlane Pass ticket from last year (hey, it'll be nostalgic in about ten years)

Wow, cool stuff. Does SFGAm still sell pins for each coaster?

I don't believe I've seen any in the gift shops, but they probably do. This is from around 1990, I believe.

This map is from somewhere inbetween 1988 and 1992, as Shock Wave is there, but so is Tidal Wave, which was removed for Batman before the 1992 season.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

I just assumed it was from 93 because the ticket I have from 93 was in the envelope.

Why are you selling all of that stuff? That would be neat to keep and pass down so maybe your kid's kid's kid could get a nice chunck of change for them at Antique Roadshow. :D
That is what i am doing with my Mr. Six Bobblehead.

Because I just don't think I'll be able to hold on to it all for that long, and there are other people who would appreciate the stuff more, and keep it safe.

I don't know about for each rollercoater, but there are Mr. Six pins over in the gift shop by Sky Trek Tower and Stargate and the Pictorium.

I prefer to relish the memories than to spend away my money on souveniers from theme park trips I wasn't even on.

Well, it's a collector's pin, it's old, and you probably couldn't find it in any store...especially since Shockwave is no more.
