Ok, I always wondered this. By looking at Iron Wolf's track after it goes through the middle of the loop, I noticed the straight track is different. It looks like IW can have a block segment there. Can brakes be put there?
It's possible. Or, maybe the space between the rails and frame is always a little bigger on straight pieces? You'd have to compare it to another section of straight track instead of a curve to know for sure.
What's the point if you are using two trains in operation? Stand-up coasters take a longer time get everyone standing than other coasters. At Cedar Point, they make sure your heel of your shoe is against the back of the car. I know what you are talking about because I try to go at least once every time I'm at the park.
I compare it to RB's brakes before the camel backs. I don't see why they couldn't do it if they wanted to.

Thats where I got it from, by looking at other B & M coasters. I really dont see why they need it, but its probably there in case SFGAm wanted to put a block there for some odd reason.
They could, but it is unnecessary. How often do you see Iron Wolf ready for dispatch before the other train gets to the final block? Rarely. That interval is very hard to accomplish, it is very small, just like Demon's interval, which is the lift hill on three trains to not stack. That interval is impossible to ever reach cause unloading, loading, harness check and guests measurements occassionally. Same with Iron Wolf, but they have to check the guests and make sure they are upright and standing straight before they can lock. Then they check the harnesses, by this time, the other train is almost done with the course, so having a block there is unnecessary.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
You also got to keep in mind that this was B&M's first coaster, so that might have something to do with them not knowing if it will need one or not. Sometimes, it seems like they need one to slow you down a bit before you go into the corkscrew.
