$15.00 Parking at SFGAm??????

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Iggy ACE on January 19th, 2006, 5:24 pm
Do you think parking will be increased at SFGAm to $15.00 like at SFMM and SFGAd?

Will it affect your plans on going?

I have a question about season passes. Not parking passes. Whan can you buy them? My birthday is on September 8th. Is that too early to get one for the next season?

They usually start selling them during Fright Fest. I don't think they were available before that though.

I don't think that they will raise the parking price unless they also raise our park price. However, at this point, these odds look good that it will happen.

If the regular parking fills up, are you forced to pay extra and park in preferred if you want a spot?

On a side note, at Universal, preferred parking is pointless. They just put you on the third level of the closer garage instead of 1, 2, 4, or 5 or anywhere in the farther garage. For $3.00, it saves you one or two escalators and maybe an extra people mover if you have to go to the far garage. If you've never been to Universal, the pedestrian bridge into the park is on level 3.

When I went to Sea World Orlando, we came in the afternoon and they were still selling prefered spots but they were all full....

Well, so far the parks that have seen ticket price increases are parks that are recieving major new additions this year. Tornado isn't really that big of a deal, but then again... you never know.

^ You sure about that? SFEG isn't getting anything and I really dont think it is likely that Ultra Twister will open at SFA this year.

This rarely happens, and by the time the lot is completely filled, enough people will have probably paid for preferred parking it to will be full. If not I am going to *assume* they would let you park there for regular price, though from what I remember from last year on those super busy days, they simply had people parking in the middle of the road once or twice :?

I remember when employees had to park in the grass next to the employee parking lot because part of the lot was being used for guests. Also some of the employees parked under SUF
