Eagle running red side today before blue

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

My kid brother and mom just got back from Great America and said it was packed. They also said that the red sode of Eagle opened up first today instead of the usual blue side. I had commented before about this probably being better off for the ride. I never thought that someone would hear it at the park. It could be that the blue was just down for maintenance today. They didn't notice if it was open around noon or not.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

Thats strange. The red side is supposed to open at 12. The blue side probably was down for maintenence then.

Why don't they open the red side at 10, and the blue side at 12?I think they should because the red side is waaaaaayyy better, and I usually want to ride it before I go to lunch and it's always closed in the morning. An even better thing would be to open both sides at 10. But it's never a long line, so that's not a big deal.

I was at the park today too. And yes the Blue side was running later in the day. They were also racing the trains really good today. The best I have ever seen them. They were really close together.
