Power Dive photo or video

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Does anybody have a good photo or a video of the Power Dive? The only photos I've found of it are either really small or are really bad photos.

Powerdive was a ride that was in the spot where King Chaos is now. It was similar to the River Rocker only it was a rocket instead of a boat and the ride went upside down.

Yes. Some of the old footers can still be seen from KC or the train ride.

Powerdive stood in that spot between the times that The Edge and King Chaos did, if that makes sense.

Nice pics (although on-rides are generally discouraged). I've never been on PowerDive, or even paid enough attention when it was still around to even notice the queue. All I remember is the parabola-like sign.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked them. I took the pics when I was 16, way back in 1997 (Man, i'm getting old). I was obsessed with that ride. It just gave the best feeling when riding. Everyone would be screaming, mostly because they were in pain, but it was fun nonetheless.

I hated those restraints. They would crush you even worse that King Chaos.

That ride looks just like a Skymaster from a carnival. Isn't it the same thing? Looks fun.
