Season Pass Question...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby CoastsToCoasters on December 26th, 2005, 3:41 am
For my birthday my aunt told me she's to renew my SFGAm season pass.
However, we are waiting to purchase it because we don't know if they will be sent in the mail just as they did last year(2005). So....
Should we just wait for them and then renew or simply go online/Jewel and get one now? Does anyone know?

Thank you.

i just got done ordering mine, and it was 100.54 for an individual w/o the parking pass. You should probably order it now, but waiting isn't a bad idea either. If you don't mind your pass probably being different than others, like last year when it was mailed (mailed were blue, online ordered were yellow), then do the mail one. I just did it now in case the price rises next year.

Since were on the topic of passes, when I go to sfgam, do I have to process it right when I get there or can it be when I leave? Also, is there usually a long line?

FRD714, to answer your questions...you don't have to process it right when you get there, but it does have to be sometime the same day. Also the lines can be long...depending on what time of day you get it processed, as well as if you go early in the season or later in the season. What I do is go on rides and walk around for a little, then a little before I leave, I process mine then.......hope that helps you with your questions

If you want to save on shipping and paying $14 for shipping since sf use UPS not your local US Postal Service it takes 4 or more days to get to your house your better off not ordering it in the internet and just buying it from Jewel and just taking the pass ticket to Great America. If you want to save more money buy the family 4 pack buying just one pass ussually costs more they offer it at Jewel, other stores and Great America. If you wanna save on taxes buy it at your local Jewel store not in Gurnee because they charge more on taxes Gurnee 7% some IL cities 6.5% Wis 5% or 6%. The only thing you have to buy at Six Flags Great America is the parking passes that you can also order on their website. Yes you can process it anytime but they have hours on their pass processing place so find out what time they close ask the guest service for that or maybe you can do it at guest service. Ussually during opening time its full speccially when its the beginning of the season.

Did you actually crunch the numbers? Assuming the pass costs $75.00, a 1% difference is only 75 cents. No point in going out of your way to save 75 cents, when you'd spend just about as much (or more) on gas.

It was just the fact that those unique passes were mailed out to us for 2005, so I wanted to know if that was occuring again for '06

I dont know if they are doing the special like last year, but I would prefer a different color cause purple just doesnt look right with Mr. Six on it. :?

I suppose they could change them but those of us that got our 2006 passes during Fright Fest have ones with Mr. Six on them. If they had ordered the supply for next season I doubt they will waste $$ by dumping them.

Nope, they are still sending out season passes with Mr. Six on them, I just got one. I still believe they won't dump the mascot until next season.

He had his voucher shipped like me. It costs 15 bucks to ship.

When you get that big voucher, what part of it do you actually need to have for processing and entry to the park for the first day?

I have a question. It may sound confusing. Me and my parents are probably going to renew our passes, and I have a boyfriend who hasn't had a season pass. We want to do the family 4 pack so it's a bit cheaper. Is it possible to have 3 renewed passes and 1 new one?

You would most likely have to call the park for that, if they say no you just have to have all 4 as "new" then. And this time you can try for a decent picture on your pass. :D
