Iron Wolf Repaint

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby [jonrev] on December 18th, 2005, 3:17 pm
I've heard that it is being repainted, but some say it's a rumor. Does anybody know if it is being repainted and what its new colors will be?

I hope its being repainted. New colors are a mystery at this point.

I prefer them not to paint it with new colors, just to give it some touch ups. I can't imagine it any other color. But at this point it is just a rumor.

^I agree, new paint with same colors. However, I don't want a paint brush anywhere near Iron Wolf until Eagle is entirely repainted. Eagle should have been repainted before BTR and Demon.

As far as I know, which is nothing, Iron Wolf will most likely be repainted. Some say a Teal Blue and Silver, most say just a repaint of the same colour.

Id like to see some new colors. The old color scheme is kind of boring, but matches the theme of the ride well (if there is a theme).

And what about the trains. Are they getting painted too or will they replaced with new ones?

I hope that they make every part of the track dark blue except have the ties be silver and then have white supports. That might look kind of cool, but i'm not sure.

I can almost guarantee IF they do repaint it, they will keep the original colors. I can't think of any other scheme that would match the trains.

I think it looks cool also, but doesn't fit Iron Wolf completely.

A REALLY light blue would be better, like the shades of blue in the logo.

The best color scheme would be light blue track, silver rails, and black supports.

it's hard imagining Iron Wolf in any other colors besides the color it already has. I think if they added some silver to the maroonish color it is now, it might look kinda spiffy.

I think that those colors are ok.

But now I have a better idea. They could completely change the ride. They could call it blue angle (and theme it after those airplanes) and it would have all blue track like this

Then it would have goldish yellow supports. That would be cool except I don't think that Great America would change the name and I wouldn't actually even want them to myself.

And how did you get that recreation. Is that the one up for download at Coaster-net.com?

Well, open up the no limits editor and then find Iron Wolf where ever you saved it. Open it up and save it to no limits tracks. This should work.
