What would you change with Vu???

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby coasterkid94 on November 17th, 2005, 5:25 pm
If you could change any thing with Vu, what would it be??? I would have less down time! :D Also, I think it would be cooler if you would not have to be pulled up the second tower by the, it would be cool if you had enough velocity to go all the way to the top.
Also, a larger ride capacity would be nice, the line could be shorter. I'm gonna try to make Vu my first ride in 2006, that is if its open.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

believe me, you're not going to be able to get on Vu that many times on physics day. The park isn't empty, and most people either wait for that ride, or for Raging Bull, just like they did this year. I was so close to riding it, like in the station, and it broke down, and we were already late. Oh well, my 57 times this season made up for that one day

My teacher told me you can ride any ride as many times as you want because there is hardly anyone there. I want to ride v2 more anyway. How long was the line for vu when you were there?

Dude that paint isn't horrible but it sucks compaired to De Ja Vu. I think that De Ja Vu has the coolest paint colors at the park. I love those colors together.

Yes. 2005 it had less down time than previous years, and it ran GREAT until August or September compared to past years. It was closed all of FF though. Hopefully next year will be even better.

I meant the Vu look a like. I know that ours is always closed.

Another question I was just thinking about, it seemed last time vu only ran once every 20 minutes or so. Is this how it usually runs?

Imeanbuisness ARE YOU ON DRUGS?!?!?!?!?

You must have never seen any other Deja Vu crews. It runs one train if your idiotic mind hasn't noticed. They ran at higher capacity than any other Giant Inverted Boomerang model in the chain. Oh yea the ride deseverves so much better. You can't compare a three train B&M and a one train Vekoma.

Frankly, I don't care what happens after this.

I would fix the second tower so that the catch wagon comes down a foot and a half lower to meet the train so that it won't miss. Simple.

I would get rid of the ride as it has proven it will never run in a depenable manner and will be down as much as it is running.
Tear it down and put in a ride that will run in a consistent manner, hopefully with a better capacity because even when it is open it is so slow loading/unloading etc that it doesnt go thru its line in a timely manner.

MOD NOTE: Please remember to use proper spelling and grammar.

Getting back to my question, when I was there, it was only running like every 20 minutes. Is this normally how it runs on a good day?
