Since people ::cough::the person below me::cough:: cant just answer my question or correct me honestly and truthfully. im editing this just to piss people off. all i asked for was an honest and simple answer as to why, and someone gave me that. but the other responces had nothing to do with what im asking.
im asking Why other parks get coasters more often then us.

Yes, SFGAdv does have a lot of rides, but if you look at other parks, they have much, much less. SFGAm has some quality rollercoasters and alot of them. SFGAm has four B&Ms. Look at Elitch Gardens, Darien Lake, New Orleans, Saint Louis, Kentucky Kingdom, America, Fiesta Texas, Over Georgia, and the Great Escape.
SFGAm has more coasters than all of these parks. SFGAm has 13 (Am E=2) while SFGAdv has (Batman and Robin=2) 13 + 1 new one for next year. So, please be happy. SFGAm also has the better boomerang (in my opinion) .
SFaddiction84 wrote:Is it just me or is it not fair that Great Adventure gets Kingda Ka in 2005 and then the Woodie for 2006. i mean honestly? goes that park deserve or need a new coaster every year? i think six flags could use another coaster becuase honestly? im getting alittle bored when i go. i always end up just riding the same stuff. i mean its fun and i go alot but come on
GADV attracts two of the largest cities in America, NYC and Philly. It is as simple as that.
Are you kidding me? Lets take a look at all SF parks:
SFA: 9 coasters
SFAW: 9 coasters
SFDL: 6 coasters
SFEG: 7 coasters
SFFT: 6 coasters
SFGAV: 14 coasters (with their coaster next year, and I only count Rolling Thunder once since it's the same track both ways)
SFGAm: 13 coasters
SFKK: 7 Coasters
SFMM: 17 coasters (although flashback never runs, with their coaster next year)
SFMW: 9 coasters
SFM: 7 Coasters
SFNE: 9 coasters
SFNO: 6 coasters
SFOG: 11 coasters (with their coaster next year)
SFStL: 7 coasters
SFOT: 12 coasters
There are 2 Six Flags parks with more coasters than us. Fact is there are very few parks in the world with more coasters than us. So suck it up and be happy with what you have, you could be living somewhere less fortunate.

Also, can't answer you nicely. I'm backing you up here 100%. Some people on this site are just rude and mean. If you wanna post an answer, Just say it nicely. If you wanna post something rude, keep it to yourself. Some of you act like a bunch of 4 year olds. And the moderating is sad here. If I recall (Because I was a mod once on another site), a moderator/ administrator is suppost to be nice and friendly to every member on the site. If you start a site, I think you should be happy if you have any members at all! But no, some of you mods/admins are rude and selfish and don't give a care. No wonder half of the members on this site don't post here anymore. That's is pretty imbarrising.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
We have 13 coasters and more than every park other than SFMM and SFGAdv. Try going to a park like Darien Lake or The Great Escape and then try complaining about SFGAm's lineup.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
I like our selection of coasters, but something new would be nice. I know we just got a huge water park, and the Mardi Gras section last year, but still...
Yep. Now we have a rock wall. I've always wondered what those parents think when they pay $5 only to see their kids make it a foot off the ground before loosing their grip and falling.

Stuff like that should either be free, or not be there at all. And I wish they would take out Dare Devil Dive and put in a new flat.
Another Question, Who desides to put coasters in. is that a corporate thing who desides if a park and build and spend money or is it up to the Individual park managers to spend the money on coasters when they want?
It's corporate. They allot a certain amount of money per park and then figure out what to add/improve/etc. from there. For example, last year we were alloted a lot for our water park, but back when they sold the land accross the expressway, we weren't given any of it (directly, at least). It went to pay off corporate debt, even though it was "our" land.

I'm fairly sure (but not positive) that the managers are given several things that are possible for the next season. If he sees a package he likes, he proposes it with the city council if needed (In Gurnee's case- anything over 100 ft). If they should aprove it, we have a new coaster/attraction coming. I THINK that's how it works.
Most parks are lucky to get 1 B&M, and we've got 4! People need to learn that familes bring in more money than the people who get season passes and free ice water. (myself included) So who do you think they're going to want to draw in?
FAMILIES!
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...
A coaster is always nice, but that doesnt mean that a park is good by the number of coasters, if that was true, Magic Mountain would be the best park in the country, and that park is terrible.
