Official Fright Fest Thread 2005

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby coastercrazy111 on August 2nd, 2005, 12:03 am
I know there is still some time before Fright Fest 2005. But I wanted to start an offcial thread so anyone can come here and talk about Fright Fest. Past experiences, and what is supposed to be new this year. Also this is also a thread for when Fright Fest actually starts coming together, and people start seeing decorations and such. So post away and have fun.

FRIGHT FEST 2005!
Its Scare Time!
2010 is going to be one to remember forever!!

Getting sprayed with pepper spray isn't gonna stop me from returning to my spot as a bush this year. Can't wait.

My cousin was using me as a shield to hide behind one of the clowns. She hates clowns.

I was a bush, but I doubt it was me who did that specific scare...but if I was, then yay!

You need to introduce me to your cousin

I plan on trying to make a full 3 day weekend trip for fright fest this year.
Has anything been released about this years shows? Any ides for a cheap hotel?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Heres how it went:

While leaving Necropolis me and my friend are walking and shes talking all like "Hah, I didn't get scared once!" then a bush jumps out and scares like the 8 year old walking infront of us and my friend starts laughing her butt off. Then she turns around and another bush jumps out and screams and my friend falls over in fright. EVERYONE laughed including the bush. Best. Scare. Ever.

Haha That's awesome. But if you were leaving, then it must've been a different year, cause the bushes were at the begining last year. I was only there last year and now this year.

one time we asked one of the creepy zombie guys who was walking around in Orleans Place to go scare my friend's little brother. He did, and the brother literally leaped about a foot off the ground and swung himself around his cousin's arm because he was so scared. it was by far my favorite fright fest moment

They never even try to scare me. Seriously they don't, they just let me walk past them. In the haunted houses they do cause they have to but on the outside in the park they don't. :(
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

My favorite scare ever was a friday night last year, when OOzob chased my sister and I across the mardi Gras section with that big night. (We're both scared of clowns)

My other FF story is two years ago, (I think, Whatever year Mr. Nasty was at the Entrance)
Anyway, The Nasty guy asked my sister's friend to spit out some of her ICEE on the Ground (and he proceeded to lick it up) I sort of ran (I don't have a great stomach) and then a Bush dude Scared me, and I sort of tripped and fell on one of the zombie dudes who started launghing and he had to turn around for a minute to get back in character but It was absolutly hilarious!

Im not good with HAUNTS or anything of that type, but i do have to say it was really, really fun.

Fright Fest is essentially the park with nice halloween theming all around the park. TrailBlazer, STT, other rides, and 3 out of 4 water rides are not open. The park lines are long and people in costumes try to scare the crap out of you and fail miserablly. Of course there will always be the fans of the theming and shows, not that i'd be one of 'em.

Why so negative about the greatest non-denominational holiday?

Anyone have any pictures of Tiny and the preveiw? I've seen it, but I didn't have my camera.

BTW: Does anyone know is Susan Rosan will be back this year? I've meant to go see her the past couple of years but I always miss it. So This year I wanted to make a point of it.

FRIGHT FEST ROCKS.
Fright fest is the reason I have a season pass. Even if all the stuff gets cheesey at times, you can still watch the people who don't think its cheesey and pee their pants. I don't get scared, but I love watching other people get scared.

THe jugglers do fire and knives and stuff during fright fest. That's what I looooovvvee. Juggling fire is awesome! (except for that one time when my torches got too hot and the flames kinda went up the handle...that was a little scarey).
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
