Best place to sit on each coaster

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I only go to Great America once every summer since i live 4 hours away so i was wondering what is the best place to ride on every coaster at the park so you get the best ride out of it. I am planning on coming next wednesday.

Bull: Row 9 for sure
Demon: I like car 6 row 1
Viper: Car 1 row 3 or car 5 row 3
SUF: row 1 is cool, row 8 is most intense
Deja Vu: I like 1a of course, 8b is also very good.

all I can think of right now...
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull

'05 Bull: 113
'06 Bull: lost count but not a lot

I always go for the fro nt on e very coaster, unless the wait is so much longer for the front that the others are empty.

Row 1a on Deja Vu?!! I don't know if I'll handle the second tower there.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I just found out how awsome that row was yesterday.

To add to the conversation: I think that 1b would be better it has the shorter wait but it's still in the front.

V2: depends on what you want. To go higher (back) or to get twisted (front.)

Iron Wolf: Near the front if you don't want your head to get bashed. Although near the back can be a wild ride.

The only rides that I have a preference for...

Raging Bull: As stated, last row kicks @$$!
Demon: Last car... awesome air on first drop.
Iron Wolf: Front Row, it's better to see whats coming :P .
Superman: Back half of train.
American Eagle: Towards the front.
Batman: I would prefer the front row, but I usually dont have the patience to wait for it.

As for Whizzer, Deja Vu, Viper, V2, Ragin Cajun, and Spacely's... I could care less where I sit.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Batman: Back row
AmE Red: Front row
AmE Blue: Last row (what would be the front if it wasn't flipped)
Raging bull: Back row or Front row
Giant Drop: Where you can see the park
Spacely's: Back row
Deja Vu: any of the B seats (i'm a single rider most of the time)
Demon: Front row (for the tunnels)
Chubasco: one thats towards the outside
Fiddler's Fling: sit on the inside and crush the other guy
Whizzer: Back row
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

Raging Bull: Last row definitely
Batman: Row 1 is best but row 8 is good because of the shorter wait
Viper: Last row or 1-3
American Eagle: Front or back on either side
Demon: 6-1
Vertical Velocity: I guess front, personally I hate the ride no matter where I sit
Deja Vu: 1A or B, or 8B. I dont like going in the middle rows because too many people dont realize why I'm cutting in front of them to get to the other side.
Whizzer: First row of any car
Iron Wolf: Row 1 or 7. Note that train 2 is smoother
Superman: Row 2. Same experience as Row 1 but no waiting.

Raging Bull - Row 9 outside seats
SUF - Front Row seat furthest from the airgate (14 I think)
RC - Big guys to the outside of your seats
Batman - Front row
V2 - Row 9 or 10 - They always have the shortest wait, and they offer a good balance of the front and rear spikes.
Iron Wolf - Front row for smoothness, back row for air & migraines
AER - Back Row
AEB - no preference other then right side of train
Spacely's - wherever my daughter tells me
Viper - back row
Demon - Back row
D'Vu - 8B usually, but it seemed to be really rough back there on 7/6
Whizzer - Backseat, better speed through the turns
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

V2: Front rows have more spin, back has more air and is better for the holding break, middle is average for both spikes.
AER: Every row is pretty good, but the ones I like the most are, front row, back row (bad for first drop), 5;1(bad for first drop), and 4;1.
Giant Drop: Find out which way the wind is blowing that day, and try to go on the car that faces perpendicular to the wind.
Raging Bull: Row 1, Row 2, Row 9.
Viper: Front Row, 1;3, 5;1, back row.

Batman-Row 1 extreme left seat
SSR- Anywhere
IW- Row 3 extreme right seat
S:UF- I like row 5, most like row 8
RB- Front or Back
Viper-Backrow or row 1:3
Whizzer-Middle (Backrow Sucks)
V2- Front Row
Demon- Front Row or 6:1
Am Eagle Red-Backrow
Am Eagle Blue- Any
DejaVu (Wouldn't Know)
RC-Extreme Left seat

Although these are the best seats to sit in, I usually just pick the one with the shortest line.

A lot of this depends one what kind of line you want to wait in. I am not a big fan of waiting for the front, and the coasters that you get major airtime on, you dont need to.

SUF: If you want to be slammed into your seat on the pretzel loop, sit in the back. If you want to float out of your seat, sit in row 2 (or wait the extra 1/2 hour for row 1).
RB: Sit in the last row for major air on the drop. The rest of the ride, both the front and back will get air.
Viper: 1:3
V2: Front if you want to see, backish for more of a floaty feeling
DejaVu, same as V2

Like I said, if you dont feel like waiting for the front, go for the back on most rides as the exteme ends of the trains in general provide the most forces.

I like the back on rides that have a straight drop like Raging Bull or Americn Eagle but on rides like Iron wolf or Batman I prefer the front.

Batman front row is awsome. Very powerful G's. But sadly the powerful G's can cause headaches. So you be the judge.
If you don't want to wait for front row but want to experience the G's then head to the 2nd row. It's not as strong as the front but it still packs a punch and it has a shorter wait.

On V2, a good seat is one thats the front row of any of the cars on the left side. It gives a view where you can see past the car in front of you when on the spike. Its pretty sweet.

RB- Front Row in the outside seat closest to the boarding gate unless you hate waiting then back row.

Iron Wolf- Front Row outside seats.

SUF- doesn't matter because you're looking at the ground.

BTR- Back Row.

DJV- 8B

Demon- Row 2

Whizzer- Row 1

SSR- anywhere

AER- Back Row

AEB- Front Row

V2- Back Row because on the brake you're the farthest up. But if you want to twist more sit in the front.

Viper- Back Row

RC- Doesn't matter

Im kinda scared of Deja Vu because it just looks so scary of how high you are when you are being turned upside down, and also S: UF because i think that my harness will fly open and i splat at the ground.

^ Don't worry about falling from S:UF. No one in the history of mankind has ever died from a fall.....

Now that sudden stop at the end has been known to kill a few off.

Besides having the main pins sticking into the armrests on both sides of the harness on S:UF (I'm sure one of them could hold you), They also have a little petruding pin that comes out near the end of your armrest as you are turning onto your stomach. If the harness comes undone, this pin will hit the harness and hold it there and prevent it from opening up all the way.
