Wow. It is amazing how the park has grown so much... I only started going there in 2000, so I don't really have any 'old' memories.

It's amazing how Marriott's sells it to SF and it changed so much. I wasn't alive, or old enough to remember, Marriott's owning it. I do see, however, that SF really expanded to park to include Southwest territory. Looks like it was a good park and only continued to improve.

Yeah, we're pretty fortunate to have one of the "nicer" Six Flags theme parks. I have a few pictures from when it was Marriott's. They're my mom's pictures, they're pretty cool though.

Yes you can call yourself very fortunate. Honestly, I would drive the extra 16 hour trip to come to your park one day over the 1 hour round tirp to SFWoA. That is how bad it is getting for us. "You might just be getting a hyper SFWoA!" "Oh wait, now you aren't because attendance was down because you cut your daily operation time in half and your workers suck, maybe next year!"

SFGAm opened as Marriott's GAm in 1976. I cant find the map, Give me a day or two and I should be able to get it!

Yeah, It opened with Turn of the Century (Demon), and Whizzer (Williard's Whizzer).Remember, GAm has 3 other coasters they removed, Tidal Wave, Z-Force, and Rolling Thunder
