It's not possible for SFGAm to recieve a coaster over the 330 feet of Sky Trek Tower. The town of Gurnee will not allow it.

SF doesn't decide how tall the coasters can be built at each park, the city/town/ect decides whether or not to give you permission to build.

I believe SFKK can not build that tall due to the fact they are right next to the airport.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

^that is correct you can see planes very closely inside the park, kinda scarry. and its dissapointing SFGAm will never hold the record for tallest roller coaster again.

SFKK has 3 different zones within the park with 3 different heights, while I dont know the zones, it goes 100, 150 and 190 feet.

Six Flags Marine World has a 150 foot height restriction.

Also SFOG is quite low, like around 200 feet

Gurnee hasn't turned down a coaster when asked. Personally, I wouldn't want a KK or TTD. They are extremely short rides with extremely long waits. I would rather get the next xcellerator. So much more to the ride. There are so many other rides I would like to see at Gam before we get a LTHB. Like the next 4d whenever that happens. Or a premeir launch coaster. Or a tilt coaster. Or...(insert name of ride).
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

It is possible that we could get the Worlds Tallest and Fastest Coaster.
All Six Flags has to do is ask the City to allow them to build it. The
city could always raise the Height Limit.

I was always one that would love to see them build a Kingda Ka
at our park. In terms of where to put it? That is tough, but I
think they could find a place. I don't believe that they take up
a huge footprint.

after riding TTD many times last week, I can gladly say I would love to have one here...it's a ride experience unlike anything else, the laucnh is the most intense element I've ever been on. Simply an amazing ride.

I don't really want a height record. I would take a speed record though!

The coaster I want does not constrict with height restrictions. If we could get a clone of Medusa at SFMW and a clone of Roar at the same place, i'd be ecstatic, you don't always need the tallest and fastest to have an intense coaster expierience.

And we all know that SFGAM has an endless budget, right? With the addition of hurricane harbor I dont see us getting anything (Big) for a while here, Remember Six Flags is a company on the verge of bankruptcy

It might be neato have a record breaker but it wouldn't be my first choice. Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka are "one trick ponies" as far as I'm concerned. They are good for a couple rides but given the problems they have with them (constant breakdowns) I'd rather have something unique that delivers airtime and is a more proven design.

Don't get me wrong, TDD is a blast but I'd rather wait is line for a coaster with a bunch of different elements rather than a rocket coaster where the ride is over in 45 seconds (when it's running).

I still would prefer something like Storm Runner or Xcelerator over Top Thrill Dragster.

It would always be nice to have one taller and faster, but SFGam has an awesome assortment of coasters and those who have it as a home park are very lucky. RB is still voted high up on the steel coaster list (see last years coasterbuzz awards).

They have been spoiling visitors alot lately too, heck huge attractions every year lately! I don't expect a taller/faster anytime soon, that's what makes traveling to parks that DO put them in so much better!

Tallest and fastest doesn't do it for me. Just because something is tall and fast doesn't mean its a great coaster. I really enjoy rides like Mr. Freeze, and Mine trains. These are neither the "fastest" or the "tallest." We should get a dark indoor rollercoaster like Space Mountain.

The theming in our park gets worse and worse every time we add a huge coaster that looms over the park. Instead of going with the tallest and fastest coaster, like kingda ka (which in my opinion is only cool when it is new until something bigger and better comes out), we should build a really awesome coaster and try and theme it and make up for its lack of height with flybys, tunnels, and other terrain stuff.

Well, Next is most probably a tornado. Then I really would love a clone of Medusa at SFMW. It's really great, I like it's height. But I have to disagree I didn't really like roar. But I really would like a big ol' floorless looper. and if HH increases our attendence like we all hope, I wouldn't be surprised if we keep getting big things.
