Yeah, one day I was at the park and I was in line for Deja Vu right before the park closed, so when we left the park, all the rides were shut down, and the sky trek tower's cabin was at the top. I guess that's where it stays when they shut it down.

At least that ride opens, the "Skyscraper" by my house at SFWoA is left parked at the top of the tower to permanently rust. I haven't seen it down in almost two years.

Is "Skyscraper" the observation tower at SFWoA? If it is, they had it operating when I was there in May. Compared to Sky Trek Tower, that thing is tiny. Plus it only does like maybe 1 revolution when its at the top.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I doubt that the cabin can go underground. In fact, I know it can't. No way would any company design anything that can bounce around as much as that does to go into a pit where there is less than 3 inches of clearance on each side. That pit is probably just for maintence. It is defenitally not for storage.

Yes the cabin is very small. Interesting to know that they still use it Chitown. I didn't know that. In the past I have seen it parked all the way down in the pit, but they probably keep it parked up top so it doesn't look as small as it really is.

Yep, the only bum to be living in the cabin of that ride though would have to be the scary thrill man that wanders the park. I don't know if anyone has ever seen him or what not, but he stays on rides for hours and hides on them. I think he is mentally challenged but he is still very scary to see in the park after hours wandering around and hiding behind trashcans. I remember back when it was Geauga Lake they would tape off sections of the Double Loop especially and he didn't get off all day, not to eat or use the bathroom. Crazy huh? He did the same thing on the Rotor. That would really have to get to you!

I wouldn't because I have heard he was convicted for something at one time. He is incredibly scary and always grunts. I have never heard him talk. Always frowning and, just very creepy. If you saw this man in a line of people you had to meet, you definitely would say "Not that man!"

Okay, well as long as you were joking. Wouldn't want you to stumble across the man by accident.

Yeah we're talking about some weird man at SFWoA, don't worry about it, he's almost 3 states away. I just mentioned my homepark, no pride towards it!
