So im really getting pumped for opening day, as of friday april 15th, only 2 weeks left, so lets hear what everyone is excited about, and how busy you think the park will be the first day? Im just excited to get to ride on bull again, the last time i was there was physics day last year, so right now i just cant wait to go on my first trip, and the fact that now half the parking lot is torn up due to a new water park, freeking exciting. I dont think there will be a lot of people on the first day, though that is what i am hoping for, with the great weather we have been having, dont think that will be true, but that is what i am hoping for, an empty park.
Ok, i'm just as excited as you. I am pleased to believe the park will be empty due to Hurricane Harbour. Everyone will wait to go there, though frankly I could care less. The only thing i'm concerned about is how many rides are open. If it's a busy day, Deja Vu can keep a fair amount of people in it's queue (assuming it's open, of course) and i'm not sure if condor has finished its refurbishment. I hope the water rides are open because I absolutley adore them. As for the weather, only God can be certian.
Again Hurricane Harbor will NOT be ready for opening day. It is expected to open on Memorial day. With good weather I'd expect moderate crowds but nothing to terrible. I'm excited to ride our Batman again and Iron Wolf but otherwise I'm not too excited since I'll be in Orlando in less than a week.

I can't wait to ride D Vu' while and if it's still open), BTR, IW, SUF, Demon, Triple Play, Whirlgig, Fiddler's Fling, Ricochet, Chubasco, V2, and The Orbit. I'm definitely not expecting for the water rides to be open along with Condor (They showed me last year with Triple Play). I also can't wait for Joyfest.
For D Vu', if the Vekoma crew is done fixing SFOG's D Vu', they will probably target SFGAm next if they havn't done so. Considering that our park isn't open yet, I don't expect them to have done it yet. So, I better ride the daylights out of that (if it's open) before they shut it down for sometime for "rehab".
This is not a rumor. I'm just implying that if the Vekoma has installed something new to SFMM's D Vu' (It was supposedly down for three months), and is now at SFOG, where would they go next? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, read the D Vu' thread that's 55 messages long. It's toward the back.
Will is be empty? I hope so.

I can't wait, every day bring more anticipation. I'm kinda excited to see some of the new things i've heard about from inside sources and stuff. I can't wait to see some of the new people i met up there last summer and fall, and I can't wait to get on one of those coasters with the wind blowing in my face, and screaming at the top of my lungs as we drop down a steep drop. I think there will still be plenty of people there, just not as big of a crowd that they had last summer. It'll take a bit to get it going, but when summer rolls around, it'll be like it always has been, even if there's HH.
Yeah 13 more days, cant wait, its weird for me it seems like this offseason went really fast, and thats a good thing. Six Flags Great Adventure June 27 to July 4 Kingda Ka baby.
Out of Colorado in the Piston home red blue and white tonight the 6'3 Chauncey BA....BA....BA.....Bilups!
I am looking forward to seeing anythung that's changed. I just wanna get to the park. I'm looking forward to everything. The signts, sounds, smells (even though it's sometimes puke) just everything in general. The ride I'm looking forward to riding the most, is Raging Bull! That is my favorite there. I'm also looking forward to V-2.
It's just so exciting, and I can't believe how fast the offseason went.
you guys are really killing me, you know. April 30 is the end of finals week which means that every time I read this thread I'm reminded of how close finals are and how unprepared I am. on the plus side, I get to close out the semester by going to Great America.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
the offseason did go a bit fast. I think in this last month it has dragged a bit, since i'm anticipating opening day so much. I guess rare entries contest did play a part in that...
look at the newest webcam, it looks like they are testing raging bull, a train is on the main track, im suprised it took them this long to start testing, but mabey not.

Yep, they are testing Raging Bull. We drove by the park today, and we watched as one of the Bulls train was going through its course.

The offseason never goes by fast enough for me. Some people have been getting a head start with Florida, SFStL, SFOG, and other parks. I guess I can't wait to see what the park ruined (I mean fixed.) this year. I will finally see what they did to Condor, and see if they finished Fiddler's Fling (painting the rest)(I highly doubt it.). Oh no, another Stargate year!!
I really think SFGAm could have been open this week. It's warm enough outside.

Dude, that weather is awsome, a little cool, but i think that will help keep people away, and leave the coasters on the first day to the true coaster enthusists, i cant wait, and have faith in Vu, i have not yet been on it, it has always been down, so have faith, if not for yourself, for me!
