Just to add on that, that exact description of it from Six Flags website.

KISS-FM Meet Mack Night
If you are a fan of 103.5 KISS-FM radio station - you're invited to the hottest party of the year. It's an exclusive event for KISS-FM listeners and their friends on Friday, April 29, 2005 from 5pm-11pm. Enjoy the entire theme park along with special musical entertainment and hang out with Mack and other KISS-FM personalities. Attendance is limited, so lines are shorter for the roller coaster fanatics. There's music, food, lots of rides with less lines - this is the place to be on Friday night April 29th. The park is all yours! Save $16.99 on the price of a ticket!

I hate the type of music that they plan on KISS FM, but I'll go anyways. I'll see if I can get anyone that wants to go with me.

I'm pretty sure season passes are not accepted. You need to buy a ticket.

Yes, you have to buy a ticket for this event. No passes accepted.

I will try and see if I can attend this event. I most likely won't be able to afford it though.

I wouldn't count on it, I went to the B96 event 2 years ago and they said they had a limited number of tickets. That was true, if by limited number they meant 1,000,000. I had never seen the place so busy in the 15 years I’ve been going to great america. I got on a total of 3 roller coasters and waited 3 hours for superman. It was so bad that I wrote a letter to B96 asking for my money back.

well.. the B96 event is bigger than the Kiss event. I doubt they will even be able to draw half of what B96 normally brings.

They didnt have enough sales last year for the event so they cancelled it. LOL.. Anyone else remember that?

The reason why nobody bought tickets is because there were 2 large concerts the same night sponsored by their sister station (107.5) and B96 had some sort of party that night also in the city.

Kiss FM obviously took over where B-96 decided to drop. I will say at least Kiss FM plays more of a variety than B-96 does.

Why anyone that has a season pass would pay to attend this event THE NIGHT BEFORE OPENING DAY is beyond me.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

A little off topic but is Kiss FM really the sister station to 107.5 WGCI?

Anyway, I think it would be fun, cheap tickets, but I don'y care much for their music either.

I completely agree with this. That's what I told my friend when she said we should go. I know lines might be shorter, but I don't want to pay the extra money to go when I have prom the next weekend and I have so much to pay for with that. If we got to use our season passes, I'd be up there in a heartbeat.

The only bonus to going to this before opening day is that it is empty, we went last year and were pretty much waiting 5 mins or less on everything, except that Vu was closed of course.

true, i don't got any money, and I have too much to pay for right now. I would go if that wasn't the problem, and if I didn't have classes that day.

I wen't to 2001, 2002, 2003 b96 buyout and each year at least 2 rides broke down.

2001 batman, shockwave
2002 V2, Raging bull, batman.
2003 v2, deja vu

And yes it is crowded. You'll probally get on 5 rides in 6 hours

This is how I feel. If you got a season pass it ain't worth going to this event. you still get charged for parking plus the 28 dollar ticket. Almost to buy a regular price ticket for only 6 hours.

You dont have to double post all the time

Also, if you are planning on gonig to this event, I'd say that some rides will be closed (Deja Vu, V2, American Eagle, Condor, Iron Wolf) just to name a few.

I can imagine more flats being closed along with water rides considering it's just for Kiss FM. IW?? What's wrong with IW?

They wouldn't have all those rides closed, its just a day befor opening day. If that was the case then those rides would be closed that day too.

Way to put two and two together. :D

I'd say that 1 or MAYBE 2 of those rides will be closed because of staffing, but other than that, the list Dan gave seems accurate.
