Has anybody else received an e-mail from Six Flags Great America with a similar subject line? According to the e-mail, it seems as if a 2005 Season Pass is being sent to those who had one from last year. The deal is that it has to be activated online. Furthermore, if it is activated by May 30th, you will also recieve a Free two-use Fast Lane card.
I got it today, but I have no need for it. I got my 2005 season pass last
October.

In the next few weeks you should get a 2005 Season Pass in the Mail. Once you get it in the mail you go on-line an activate your Season Pass by paying $89.99 or $79.99 with your Credit Card. This is another way to get a Season Pass. They are currently test marketing it in selected Six Flags Parks. I personal think that’s a very good marketing idea.
That's no fair about the free 2 use Fastlane because I ordered my season pass a few weeks ago and have already recieved it! So I wouldn't be eligable for that offer?

Call them up, I am sure they will send them to you if you complain to them.
I have not recieved a e-mail yet but maybe that's because I already ordered my season pass?? I'm waiting to see if my nephew gets a e-mail because he has not renewed his pass yet.
Yeah, I got mine, too. The cards are that break-off type of plastic that you can bend easily (like preferred cards at stores), not the nice cards like last year. But they're still plenty durable.
The Fast passes are only good for use in May. And if I recall from last year, lines weren't nearly long enough to use fast passes in May. So it's really not that big of a deal about the passes.

I'm sure that the card in the mail is a one time use thing once it's activated just to get you in the park. Then they have you go through SP processing to get a regular pass with your picture, etc.
I got mine yesterday too. I hope that's the case because I kind of like the blue ones better then the yellow ones. I looked at my bought pass and thought it just looked ugly next to the pretty blue one. I'd feel better if they were all yellow so I didn't feel like I was left out. I'm such a girl. I'm caring WAY to much about the color of the passes
Season start already!! Oh well I'll get my fix Saturday and Sunday in St Louis. I'm so excited! We are leaving tomorrow at 2:30pm!! Yay!

No, the card that comes in the mail is the finished ID with your most recent photo. The brochure that comes with it specifically states that one of the perks is that you do not need to go through processing.
I called yesterday about this since I bought my 4 passes back in December. The guy told me that I am not allowed to get the free fast lane passes because I already bought my passes. He wouldn't budge. Usually SFGAm has great customer service but this was pretty disappointing. I spent $300+ buying a family pass as early as I could and I don't even get the best deal.
Wow, I must say, Six Flags got me with this one. I wasn't even thinking about this coming season but when I got the pass in the mail it made me want one. Now i'm saving up (babysitting my spring break away) to get my pass activated. I can't believe the effect, I haven't checked into this site in months.
FYI ... On Friday Parking Pass prices increased $10.00 on the sixflags.com website. Instead of $30, it is now $40. Instead of $50 for (2) passes, it is now $60. ETC.
