I have a question for everyone. For a ride like Batman, do you really need to take the train off? The coaster is inside, and is covered already.

The trains aren't taken off the tracks because of nothing. The trains go through rehab to make sure the run safe throughout the season. So therefore, the Batman trains are taken off the tracks and most trains are taken to maintenace and are stored until they go through rehab.

They take the train off the track because the entire train is disassembled down to the smallest parts. These parts are examined for stress fractures or cracks or signs of wear and tear. It would be too hard to do this with the train still on the track.
