Everytime, you go to the park, you must have rides you ALWAYS go on, so what are they?
Here's mine:
Rollercoasters
D Vu', V2, BTR, SUF, IW, Demon, Am E (forced on)
Flats
Triple Play, Sky Trek Tower, Condor, Ricochet, Chubasco, Big Easy Balloons, Whirlgig, Fiddler's Fling, The Orbit, Roaring Rapids
Sometimes
Viper, Hometown Fun Machine
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
I always go on B:TR and Viper. Ususally: Superman, Whizzer, Cajun, Bull, Wolf, Eagle. Rarely: Cajun, SSR, Vu, V2.
Ususally what I go on depends on lines, I'm not a very patient person.
But Flats, Except last fright fest when it was closed I've never not gone on Triple Play, I'll usually go on Trailblazer, River rocker (BAck only), Revolution,Condor, and King Chaos...
Really depends on lines. If theres a long line for everything I'm fine with watching shows or riding the train all day. The only things I'll wait for are the coasters with great capacity on really busy days- Raging Bull and Batman: The Ride.
Otherwise on normal days I'll go on anything that catches my eye.
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2 Coaster Count: 444
Coasters: Raging Bull, viper, batman, demon (sometimes others)
Flats: Hometown Fun Machine, Triple Play, Orbit, King Chaos, Revolution
Also, stargate and whatever shows are interesting enough to go see.
It mainly depends on lines. The person I usually go with doesn't like to wait in lines for a long time, so if the line is really long , IE Superman, then we'll skip it. Those are the usual rides though.
Sky Whirl was the only ride I felt absoutely obligated to ride every time I visited the park. There were times when I'd drive the hour to the park, see the park is packed, ride sky whirl once, then drive home.
Easily my #1 ride of all time. Coaster, flat ride, ferris wheel or otherwise.
Still bitter over it's removal.
These days I make sure to ride Whizzer, Eagle(just to play roulette to see if it's running crappy, or less crappy than usual on that particular day, actually rather fun to find out the results) and I ride most of the flats in the park. Also I try to ride Viper and Batman if the line is short.
If I go to the park alone, it's not uncommon for me to skip all the other coasters. Usually I'll just go with the flow in a group.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
Coasters: All of them, except for Deja Vu(ride isnt worth the long line), and SSR(depends who I'm there with! )
Flats: Triple Play, Revy, Sky Trek Tower, Rue Le Dodge, Scenic Railroad. Orbit, Fiddler's Fling
The only coasters I will wait in 1hr+ lines for are Raging Bull, and B:TR.
I'd wait 30mins to one hour for Viper, S:UF, Whizzer, V2, IW,
Less than 30 mins for Demon, AE, and Deja Vu.
Mini-Marathon rides: American Eagle, Iron Wolf, BTR, Demon, Viper, Raging Bull.
Most of the time: BTR, IW, V2, Dejavu (if it's open).
I usually ride all the roller coasters in the park at least once, but if certain rides are walk ons, like eagle, viper or raging bull then I just will ride those.
Wait 15-30min in season pass holder line then Superman, King Chaos, Cajun, Batman, V2, Wolf, Eagle Red, Eagle Blue,Revolution, Deja Vu (if open, it was only running 1 time for me last season), Demon, Raging Bull, Viper, Whizzer, then lunch...
After that, who knows
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Anything with a short line - especially on weekends. I go to the park a lot (definately got my money's worth with the season pass, each trip cost around $3.50) so I figured at least once I'll hit that night when there are no lines whatsoever. Opening day this past year, V2 front row was a walk-on. That was the first time I had ever been on it. I also have a DejaVu story. The first two times I had tried to ride it, it closed due to inclement whether. I was next in line (standing at the air gates) the second time it happened, and in the same row both times (5A). I always avoid that row now. Actually, the first time I was seated and all strapped in. If they had launched 5 seconds sooner we would have ridden.
coasters-Vertical Velocity, Batman The Ride, Raging Bull, Iron Wolf, Viper, Demon, Deja Vu, Whizzer, Spacelys with my little brother, and sometimes Superman Ultimate Flight. (for all the coasters it depends on how long the line is)
Flats-Hometomwn Fun Machine, Triple Play, Whirlygig, Big And Easy Balloons, Giant Drop, and sometimes Revolution.
