I was bored one rainy afternoon adn i decided to create a topic what is your fav section of the park. Mine would have to be yankee harbor because they have loggers run, the whirlygig, and my two fav coasters besides bull, V2 AND BATMAN!!! So what is your favorite?
I don't really know, it's a hard choice. It's either Southwest Territory, Yankee Harbor, or County Fair.
I'll just say SWT because I love the theming and it has Raging Bull and Viper, two amazing coasters. County Fair comes in a close second though, because it has Vu, Eagle, Iron Wolf, Revolution, and Demon.
I'm not sure which one I like. I really like Southwest Territory. I love Raging Bull, and the theming is great. But then again, i really like County Fair because of all the coasters there, and it just feels like a carnival atmosphere and it's just fun

Hey you and the other smart guys. Nice job reading the topic name. Pick one OTHER than Southwest Territory.
Hometown Square is mine. I think maybe have 2 or 3 Ford Model T type cars around would look cool.

Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but ex. normally stands for example. Sure he could've meant except or excluding, but it didn't say so in the actual post so I just ignored it.

Chill, dude... proper caps and punctuation are very much apperciated here. I, too, was one of the people who assumed you meant "excluding" SWT, but since you didn't, let me say that I too, love SWT for its great selction of rides and uncharacteristically good theming (especially by Six Flags).
I would have to say that I like County Fair Best, with SW being second. County Fair has Demon, Eagle, IW, Dejavu, Revolution, Fiddlers Fling, and DDD. Not to mention that it also has the games area and a much bigger arcade.
Now that I'm thinking about it, County Fair is absolutely huge in comparison to any other section of the park. It stretches from IW all the way around to Orbit.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name
I would have to say Southwest Territory or County Fair.
Southwest Territory would have to be because of the great themeing that they put into the section. It is also because of the intricacies that are involved including the ringing bell, and roaming bands. I also love the selection of rides in this area with a teacup ride and the two good coasters!
County Fair would have to be my other favorite because a decent amount of the original Marriott themeing was retained. The selection of rides throughout this section is also fantastic!
I would have to say Gotham City, I mean Yankee Harbor because everything is so close to another. I don't see any empty spaces in this part compared to a place like County Fair where it is so big. Out of the whole parks rides, I think that this part has exceptionally good rides in one area.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
SWT - I think it has the best themeing from the store fronts to the walkways it really feels like an old western. It also has my #1 coaster (RB), and my favorite game (4-ball run). The only drawback is the fact that they don't really make good use of the theater. Bring back some sort of stunt show, otherwise its just a downer to see it empty.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Thank god. Someone who used the word "Grammar" and "Appericiated" in the same sentence. Wanna go have a beer?

But the disadvantage is that County Fair has the shortest soundtrack in the park, clocking in at 33 minutes long. That's short for 12 songs. But it does make a classic soundtrack. But I hear the Demon soundtrack used to be much shorter. I never listened to that one.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I don't really have a favorite land. I like them all. But the one I like the least is Yankee Harbor in which the theming is worthless anymore.
Here's a list of the sections of the park in the order from the one I like the most to the one I like the least. This is just my opinion and I heartily acknowledge not many of you have the same one as I do:
1. Southwest Territory (This is the best themed area in the park next to County Fair. Before the Bull was built I thought I smelled cow manure on the ground to add to the old west theming. But what is Ottmar Liebert doing in the soundtrack?)
2. County Fair (Great section, you can't go wrong. But a piece of it died when the Haybaler and Sky Whirl were removed. I guess I'm not to sorrowful to see Ameri-Go-Round go since that ride never opened.
3. Yukon Territory (That place just gives me the Canadian feel everytime I walk through and smell the aroma of burgers simmering on the grill at Mooseburger.)
4. Hometown Square (a catchy soundtrack, and the smell of funnel cakes)
5. Carousel Plaza (the two-story carousel and the soundtrack, of course)
6. Orleans Place (I guess it's ok. It hasn't been the same since the Shockwave and Power Dive left.)
7. Looney Tunes National Park (lack of rides)
8. Camp Cartoon Network (could use a slight expansion and the name could be changed to "Camp Boomerang Network")
9. Mardi Gras
10. Yankee Harbor (not much theming anymore)
11. Plymouth Place (I don't even know what to say about this un-themed section. That's definetely my least favorite place except for the Sky-Trek. The elevator 'muzak' soundtrack is a joke.)
