Trips To SFGAm

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby sixflagsguy5 on February 5th, 2005, 10:37 pm
I'm just wondering how many times each of you went to the park last year and how many times you think you'll go this year? People always think im crazy when I say I went 22 times, but I know half the people on this forum have twice as many trips as that.

I went 22 times last year and I'm hoping to go 22-24.

Man, I forget how many times I went last season. Was it 18 times? Now that I have my Drivers Liscense, I think I will go more than 20 times next season.

I'm worried about whether or not I'll get more or less than 22 times, because I have more people getting season passes, including my family. But I also lost a bunch of people from last year also.

I went 15 times in 2004. I'll probably go somewhere around 15 again in 2005.

I went 16 times I think this year. Having your license does make it much easier to get to the park, espicially when you live almost an hour away when your parents never want to drive anywhere that far.

Gas sucks though.

I plan on going more than I did last year. Last year I didn't get a pass and went like 5-6 times. I'm getting a pass this year and going at least 10 times.

9 times without a season pass?

Why not just buy a season pass?

I went 26 times to SFGAm last year. I probably would have went more, but with how busy it was last year, I didn't feel like waiting in lines. Waiting 2 hours for the Eagle just isn't worth it too me. I don't know, I just always figured if I am going to wait 2 hours, it would be for Bull, but if Eagle is 2 hours, than Bull would be a lot more! See where I am going? It's best just to leave and come back another day, which is what I usually did.

My biggest year for trips was 42, and that was in 1999, when Bull was born.

I went 43 times last season but this year I'll be lucky if I get 10 trips in! I am getting married in April of 2006 in Hawaii so we are saving everything and my fiance said that we can NOT spend all of our savings on roller coasters this year...

I can only get to SFGAm about 5 times a year if I'm lucky. I'm usually too busy at work. This year I hope to get there at least 10 times, because I know it will be easier to get my parents to go this year with Hurricane Harbor.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Same here. It's not that the park is so far away, it's just that I have no one to take me and it does add up in prices

I made it 4 times last year. I am looking at 5-6 times this year with a few of those being back to back days. I am buying a season pass for my daughter this year, so she will get her first ever visit to GAM some time this year as well.

I would visit more but the park is 246 miles from my house. Usually I visit when I am visiting my Grandma in Wisconsin, then it is only 115 miles to the park.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
