I think Great America is out of room. think about it, sky whirl for deja vu, shockwave for superman, power dive for king chaos, party vr and bridge for ragin cajun, and most of all, 13 acres of parking for water park.I think SFGAm is out of room. what should they do? how long untill they really are?
well i think what they could do is get ride of that road inbetween the lot and overflow and just make it one big lot, that would help some. maybe......hmm i really dont know what they could do. theres gotta be something, they could move the kid car go cart things and splash water and put a coaster there. they could put the kid car go carts somewere else.
why another poll about somthing that has been asked before and talked about to death?.... everyone says remove loggers run or the go karts. and by the way, why does a coaster have to be built everytime a ride or somthing is moved?
Anybody who thinks SFGAm is out of room needs to take a trip east (except for Do I Know Yow, for you it's a long northwest) to a town called Monticello, Indiana. There is a park there, known as Indiana Beach, that people thought was out of room in 2001. Yet they added the Cornball Express, which is consistently rated one of the top wooden coasters in the U.S.A.
My point, you don't need a lot of room for a great coaster. Just go to rcdb.com and look at pictures of it. Zero room, but still a great coaster.

I agree with mschultz5. Don't forget, coasters can be designed to fit
the area the park needs it it. I still think, with the current layout, they
can do a lot more and add more.

To me those are great upgrades. I mean, King Chaos/power dive almost the same ride. I would take Deja Vu over Sky Whirl anyday. Shockwave, well. Although missed, it was old. They'll be creative. It will be some time before we actually do indeed run out of room. We still have a lot of picnic sections of the park. As for the party vr it's just another money sucker that wasn't all that entertaining. And for the bridge, come on, you gotta give stuff up if you want new things.
In the end, I think our Six Flags is going to top all of the rest. We will be the leading Six Flags if this trend continues. And hopefully it will. SFGadv. has nothing on us. They have what? Kingda Ka? HA!
If anybody makes a topic about new rides, running out of room, rumors, or put a topic in the wrong forum they get yelled at by everyone else and the topic will get locked.
If your worried about room, then don't, because they are able to build in tight spaces even if they were low on room.
GA is not running out of room anytime in the near future. Now i'd normally be my bratty self and call you such things as "idiot" or "moron" like I normally do, but you're not. It's a legitemate possibility and a question so I can call whoever called you a "moron" the same thing. But no, not for at least 30 years. God, this topic has been beaten
I'm just going to go with this. SFGAm is not running out of room as long as they take something out. Sure, they could take away the employee parking lot, but where would the employee's park???
Tidal Wave was moved to SFOG (at one time) for BTR, Power Dive for KC as said before, Shockwave for SUF, Haybailer and Sky Whirl for D Vu', Cajun Cliffhanger for Jester's Wild Ride, Rolling Thunder for Southwest Territory, the parking lot for Viper, Go-Carts, and Space Shuttle America. SUF might have chopped a little more of that parking lot.
So, no, we will NEVER run out of room.
For goodness sakes, The Batman car doesn't even have it's space anymore, and yes the lighthouse had to leave to put a rollercoaster in. A waterpark is actually going in the parking lot. Trees are getting chopped down for expansion.
Don't call people morons because they have opinions that you might not agree with. Let's keep it civil people. Sure, you guys can agree that SFGAm has enough room, while I don't.

I don't think they knew they were going to have Jester's Wild Ride in Cajun Cliffhangers place. That was taken out due to injury, not for another ride. Just lock this thing before we get another fight in here.
I don't believe they will run out of room soon. Plus when they get rid of rides they have their reasons. Not only do parks look at family-friendly appropriate, they look at popularity and whether the ride is a maintence nighmare (which is one of the reasons Power Dive went) And putting in a new ride takes planning 2-3 years in advanced before parts/pieces arrive and construction starts, so it's never just a last minute "We'll tear down some rides and then stick a new flat ride and roller coaster in its place and give this park a new themed area."

It is northwest for me.
IB is amazing. They fit so much in such little space, and they could proabably fit even more. (Like maybe something that loops) Sure, they had to get of their butts, but it is worth it. Six Flags is capable of pulling of an IB, but I pretty sure getting of their lazy butts does't look to atractive to them...
