While known to many of you, many flats make noise at SFGAm such as the big humming on East River Crawler, Ricochet's clicking, and the whinning (I don't know a better word.) of the Whirlgig. Other flats don't make these entertaining noises.
So, to replace the non-noises, I say they should add some music to liven up the rides such as they do already on BTR, and SUF. The rides that would best for this in my opinion would be Fiddler's Fling, Hometown Fun Machine, Triple Play, and Revolution. As long as they don't play the same thing over and over again such as on "Halloween Chubasco," it would be really fun.

They should play music on flats like they do on SUF and BTR. Sorry for the confusion.

See I like the music too, it just irritates me when I can't find the name of the songs! I've never really seen a flat with music like that though, to it's own theme. The only exception would be Tomb Raider at PKI or Texas Twister at Geauga Lake with its western music.
On River Rocker, they could play "Don't rock the boat" (I think that's the name of the song, it's pretty old though.) and some other music also.

The song is actually called "rock the boat". It then says "don't tip the boat over". As for fun machine, there's not much they could play for the theming other than the Hometown Square music. For Fiddler's Fling, they could play music played by a fiddle.
For Hometown Fun Machine, it would cool if they had music that would get faster as the speed increases. For Fiddler's Fling, they could always change the name so they won't have to play a fiddle type of music.
I heard a song that would be perfect for that ride with the original name (Fiddler's Fling), Bach's String Quartet. (No, I don't like classical music, it was a music class.) The music starts slow, and then it speeds up and slows down. However, that is a good instrumental song and it would go with the theming, or as easy as 123 to change the name.

I wouldn't ever change the name because it is Marriott's theming and I think we should hang on to that. Fun Machine does stat slow and speeds up gradually. Fling, however starts slow when the ride starts, but gets fast in about 5 seconds once the individual arms begin to spin. And here I go again, another PGA vs. SFGAm question. Didn't PGA make their Fiddlers Fling into some sort of construction themed thing? I think I saw a picture of this once.
I think they should play Revolution by the Beatles for Revolution. And play Don't Rock the Boat for River Rocker. It would make the rides more entertaining in line. It may get annoying after awhile, but I am sure some people would sing and dance to them!
I wouldn't say to change the ride at all, just the name and then you could get better music for it if they wanted to.

Yeah, I would love to hear techno (with the awesome bass they had 2 years ago) on chubasco and maybe on Giant Drop. But think about it, It has to fit the theme. Techno in a desert theme doesn't work out too well.
On one of the spinning flats they could play Dizzy. That would work lol. "Dizzy, my head is spinning. Like a whirlpool it never ends. You're making me dizzy."
Why would you want music playing on a flat, that is just a waste of electricity and stereos, and it would make the park to noisy, everywhere you walk you would here a different song. Leave it the way it is, with some rides having their own music and the rest of the park with the other music.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
It's not covering up the noise. It would be for the rides that don't have an entertaining noise. For the techno thing, they play that song on Chubasco and that doesn't seem too desert like. It would only be on some of the flats.
If you want to talk about wasting money, the Mardi Gras band is a waste of money. Who actually sits there and listens to them? A couple speakers wouldn't kill them.
I guess it's a rollercoaster so it deserves it. Right????
