Ok, so I finally finished my video of Mr. Six at SFGAm...

http://sfgam.thrillnetwork.net/Video/MrSix.rm

That is SUPPOSED to stream, I doubt if it'll work for 56k People, if it doesn't for 56k people, or anyone with a connection slower than about 500 Kb ( KILO-BITS! NOT BYTES!) per second, just let me know, then I'll re-encode a smaller version for you.

Please also post your comments/ venting/ etc.

I know that the beginning is shaky, but I arrived late and didn't have time to set up the tripod, oh and there was like 2-3k people around me...

So Enjoy!

You must be kidding me even for people with standard DSL (256) and cable aren't at your standards.

(oh well, I'll try anyways)

EDIT: It's just downloading ('m on 256 DSL) about 20 minutes

Yes you are at my standards, I said KiloBITS, not bytes... My DSL is a 1000 Kilobit line, I actually download at about 170 KB/s.

So you just need to be able to download at about 60 KB/s or faster to stream as is.

Ok if its just downloading, you don't have to download it, you can just put the URL into RealPlayer to play it. Its most likely because the server isn't registered to it, I might also end up making a popup webpage and embed it into it.

I thought it was put together very well, I couldn't stream it because Mozilla Firefox is wierd and I don't know how to. It only took about a minute to download so it's all good.

Make sure its the latest version of Real Player, I have that and it works fine, and the download should be like 21 Mb or so.

...you wouldn't by chance be wearing a S:UF media tag and filming the parade in front of Jordan Pope?
