I'm afraid when I ride Vu not to put to much restraint on the harness because those thin ratchets might give and the ONLY backup is the seatbelts (that SF added themselves)...
No, I don't care. I couldn't imagine a better way to end my life then on a ride.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Umm, I don't love rides quite that much. Dieing on a ride would be a horrible way to go.
Anyways, I always look at the two bolts holding the cars on V2 (the two big steel bolts near the top of the seat backs with the painted on torque mark).
If you believe things will happen to you on a certain ride, avoid the ride altogether. It's not worth it (the ride) if you are going to live in fear by going on it.

Wow! I was just sort of joking about all those things. I don't really "live in fear" when I go on those rides. In fact, Raging Bull is my favorite ride at the park.
I always think about if the clamshell will pop up on the first drop, Deja Vu I always think about damn what if these harness was to fail, and on V2 on the holding break, front row, hands up, i always think, how the hell is this seatbelt gunna save my life if the harness gives. Finally, on SUF, On the lift i think about if my harness was to give, I'd be handing from my ankles, and the res of the ride, it feels like my feet are gunna come out of the restraints. Im paranoid!
I'm only afraid when something actually seems like its happening.
My first ride on DV this year was my first ride in like a year and half, i was praying for it not to break down so i could get on and i did get on. yay! They locked us in and all was good. Then they started it up and we were sent up the first tower. My harness which was perfectly fine when they checked it, came undone like three clicks, so it was out pretty far from my stomache, i was freaked as hell, i knew that we had some was upward to go and that it'd come again where i'd be relying on the harness to save me. I literally held myself in by grabbing on the seat and holding myself up. It was freaky! But when we dropped and went through the station it clicked back down into place and i was fine.
It miscaught right after that and came into the station a little short, so we were stuck for a little while. It was quite an enjoyable experience actually, knowing that problems that may arise correct themselves. I've gone on it several times since, but i still don't get scared in line.
The whole TTD thing is going to scare me next time i go there...yowsers!
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
