I was at Great America Sunday, and V2 was open. I rode it with only about a 5 minute wait. SFGAM wasnt very busy yesterday.
One strange thing about V-2, we were in line for Rajun Cajun and saw it go for the first time of the day, and when it was supposed to stop on the back spike it didnt. I dont know what happened, it was just that one time. The rest of the times did it.
But i just wanted to tell anyone who doesnt know that it is finally back open!

I have a question, what was wrong with it?

I was on the ride when it did not stop on the back lift the second time, I was in front row, it felt wierd not stopping.

It has to be either a power problem (It can't stop because their is not enough power to hold it up.), or it is just a computer malfunction.

the ride kept going like nothing happened and finished, I think that it just was a malfunction

it was open on saterday to. I went on it then and on the back spike it was only grabbing it for like half a second then it would fall. Also it was making a weird moaning sound when it attempted to grab it.
All this time, we've been thinking that V2 is just a shorter name for Vertical Velocity. SFGAm has tricked us again. Now, we know the real reason, 2 different rides. You can't pull that one on us.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm not sure if it is or not. Anyway good to know that V2 is back up. Can't wait to ride it tomorrow.

It is back up and running baring any more problems that arise(which they will sooner or later).
