Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Over the last few days, a Crane has been next to the second tower of DejaVu. There are some cardboard boxes also sitting on the platform up the tower as well and on Wednesday there where several workers on that platform. Is this a bad sign for the Green Lawn ornament? or just a temporary thing?

they figured they would put a crane next to the ride just for looks.....
I am sure its just temporary. They will fix the stuff they need to and then open the ride back up.

It's just temporary, I believe they are doing something with the cable. Deja Vu isn't going anywhere any time soon.

the Vu will be back up and running sooner or later, hopefully sooner, but it will still have problems like before

Yeah, it didnt really seem like any of the problems its been having were because ofthe cable, so im guessing this is just preventive (sp?) actions.

Just look on the bright side...the second tower cable won't break while catching the train you are on.

Sweet, maybe this "maintenance" improved the ride, or the reliability of it anyway.

Maybe it will give them experience to fix it better, even though they may have the experience after it being broken every 15 minutes

The expericence they recieve when it breaks down every 15 minutes has nothing to do with the maintenence they did over the last week.
