Most Intense Ride at SFGA

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Ilovthevu' on June 4th, 2004, 8:21 pm
My top three most intense rides at SFGA may be a shocker to most you. A flat (FF) is number one which is totally underrated and has mostly young kids riding it (Teens Chicken?), I W is second, and Am E is third. I wonder if you guys agree?

Whats "FF"?

I just started becoming more interested in coasters within the past year or so so i haven't riden all the coasters at SFGA yet. But...of the ones i've ridden....i'd say that Giant Drop, Batman, and V2 are my top 3. (I'm sure Raging Bull would knock out V2 on my list...but i haven't rode it.)

I'd have to say Fiddlers is the most intense ride in the park, really nothing else at SFGAm that I can think of is all that intense. BTR maybe, though that's more disorientation though elements in quick succession, rather than crushing forces. Shockwave was quite intense, especially from the enterance to the second loop though the block brake, woudl really lay it on there.

B:TR
Deja Vu
Fiddler's Fling

The last time I was on B:TR(7/6/03), I thought my guts were going to spill out. That's how intense it was for me.

Batman
Iron Wolf
Rajun Cajun

I rode RC for the first time yesterday, and somehow we got that car spinning so fast, it was really intense. Especialy that last little bunny hill if your spinning through it. So much more intense than the one at Animal Kingdon. God I love intense rides.

I tend to agree that D Vu' is intense, but only in the outiees. The inees are quite tame because you have that next car in front of you and you don't feeling like your falling out. I guess that AE Bl would be crazier than red because of it going backwards.

Fiddler's Fling
Ragin' Cajun
Batman

Fiddler's Fling is definitely the most intense ride in the park. It's insane, and fun. :)

I havn't been on Fiddler's Fling or Rajin` Cajun yet and IW doesn't seem intense to me, so Batman.

I think Cajun Cliffhanger was the most intense ride, but now Batman is.

V2's launch is kind of intense for new riders.

Deja Vu is intense for new riders when you go up the first tower backwards.

Raging Bull's first drop is intense for new riders.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I've been on Vu now 6 times and it is still intense on the 1st tower  My little nephew went on it for the 1st time on Saturday and what does he do... hands up. That little boy has some courage!

You always know it's a new rider when their head is so far forward they can see the person sitting next to them, then when the launch hits their head gets slammed back. Sometimes very funny.

Hey W00dland, that happened to my cousin on opening day! I told her to keep her head back, but she didn't listen. She had a headache for about an hour after that.

I think that the most intense rides are

Batman
Iron Wolf
Fiddler's Fling
Finally Coaster Season!!

I can't believe no-one has mentioned SUF and the pretzel loop.

That is the single most intense element on any ride in the park.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
