Do you know if you are allowed to take POV videos while on any of the coasters at Sfgam? If so, which ones?? I have seen POV videos of Demon, Whizzer, and AE but I do not know if you are allowed to. Thanks for your help.

No, your not allowed to bring a camera on a ride without the consent of Sfgam. That usually doesnt stop some people.

Well if you ask the chances are that they are probably going to say no but you could try. I just don't think any employee wants to be repsonsible for a dropped camera hitting someone on the head.

From the park guide: Cameras are not permitted on thrill rides or attractions. Please check with ride operators regarding camera policies for each ride.

That should answer your question.

I have seen people get thrown out of the park for that very reason. Taking a camera on the ride is a safety risk for everyone, not just people on the train, but the people below it as well. I've even seen Viper do a ride stop because a Op saw a camera and they had security come escort him out of the park.

if you really *really* want to shoot an on-ride video, I'd suggest building some sort of mount and talking to management. for most rides, the ops will just say no.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Just keep the camera in your hand in plain site while the ops come and check the restraints. If they see it and don't have a problem with it, then I guess you're OK.

Once again From the park guide: Cameras are not permitted on thrill rides or attractions. Please check with ride operators regarding camera policies for each ride.

That means....No Camera's!

This topic is over.
