1) How many guests can Great America hold??
2) You can get in the park anytime when it's open, right?
3) When you buy your season pass, is it $94.99 or something like that?? And what kinds of coupons are there for getting in cheaper?

1. a Lot
2. Yes, but i belive they may close the gates like a half an hour before closing time.
3. it's around 85 now. and you can use coke cans to get in cheap. Buy discount tickets at jewel (I think). And also, my school has these bookmarks with 10 dollar off coupons.

For #2, When the park is open you can get in. This one time I was at Gurnee Mills and I noticed the park was still open and I went through the gates 15 minutes before closing. And I got on 2 rides, Bull and Viper.

Actually, season passes are 94.99 at the gate. You have to buy them in adavnce at Jewel or online to get the better rate of 82.99 (or something like that). The best deal, however, is to use a Coke can or a Buy One-Get One and then upgrade to a Season Pass once in the park for $49.99.

And the 40,000 people capacity has not changed since the park was open. When there were FAR less things to do. Imagine waiting in line for Loggers Run for 2 HOURS! And you had to WADE through the crowds in the midway.

That story courtesy of my freindly maintenance guy.

The park RARELY reaches 40,000 if ever so it's not really that big of a concern (although nice Saturday's during FF get up there close).

I know at least twice during 2003 FF they started to turn people away at the gates because the park was full. I remember the one day you couldnt even make your way through Necropolis without being right on top of other people. Very uncomfortable.

Yep 40,000 is the capacity exept during certain special events where tickets are presold (like Joyfest) and figures can exceed that significantly.
