Could Deja Vu be defunct?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby coasterdude12 on May 4th, 2004, 5:40 pm
I have heard enough eople tell me this that I think it will happen. This may be Deja Vu's last season.

My Advice: Ride it while you can

According to a friend who works for six flags it may be torn down by Augudt 2004

I don't know, but it's too late to bring back Sky Whirl because I hear it's gettin' scrapped. Hay Baler also got scrapped as well.

It was opened in 2001, yet when people see it test the sprint there so they can get in line really quickly.

It's got too much of a crowd to be going anywhere.

It's been open for 3 years, and for 3 years, there have been rumors of it coming down. Give it up, kids, it's not going anywhere.

I would think that they would still keep it even with its problems. Maybe if it does come down is there room for shockwave there?? That could be interesting. Maybe if they did take it down it would be for a reapiring and relocation but i dont see why they would take it out already. The 1 time I got to ride it Deja Vu was great.

I dont think its going anywhere. I think six flags and vekoma got out all of the glitches because its runnig fine at all parks this season, and was open to pirvate events prior to this season. You can tell they changed something in the ride system because right before the drop you hang for a second. It never did that as much before. i dont know how that affects the ride, but that stuff doesnt just accidentally happecn every time they run the ride.

LoL

First of all, Shockwave=never coming back to SFGAm. Second of all, Shockwave has a footprint about 5 times the size of Deja Vu.

Deja Vu is staying right here at SFGAm. It's too popular to be taken out.

Neither do I. Everyone needs to calm down! Sfog and Sfmm had trouble w/ their Deja Vu's also, but they did not tear it down. They worked out there problems as we did. We may still have some problems, but we got most of them fixed.

I really think it's a goin'. Or else I wouldn'tve written have written this topic.

As for what, if anything will go in it's spot is up in the air. According to coaster-net rumors, were supposed to get "Wolverine" which would be like the Tidal Wave.

I am NOT trying to spread rumors around.
