Cedar Fair will probably invest a lot of money into the park. I'm guessing over the next several years we will see a large infrastructure investment, fixing the kids areas, a flat ride package, a giga coaster and a complete refurbishment of the American Eagle
*This thread was split from another topic, please post all future ride speculation here.*

I still think the giga is a fantasy, but we do need better flats tbh
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
I hope all of those things happen along with the front entrance being fully done. Pavers & all. But I'm most excited for the giga down the road. I just don't see how it wouldn't be an obvious choice for the next major coaster.

I would love it if they eventually replaced all the asphalt in the park with pavers. It would look so much better.
Agreed 100% A Giga would be a smash hit at Great America. They would need to build a new storage building behind the employee parking lot in the wooded area next to the neighborhood and demolish the existing storage building in order to open up the space needed. But that's peanuts for Cedar Fair.
I did a photoshop of Orion in the back stage area just to show how easy it is to fit a giga.
I also wouldn't mind one of those 400 foot Mack tower spinners to run alongside the American Eagle. I did a photoshop of what it would look like from the highway.

I see the "down the road" option (whatever that is) being more realistic than the image above for the giga, if they didn't want to clone Dr Diabolical then forget the Giga, unless they make it twisty and cramped like WOR, but at that point it's just "Raging Bull but BEEG"

Oh yeah, it would definitely need to be a custom layout. I just used Orion as an example. of how Great America can construct a giga (and a strata) without removing other rides
I also would like to see a giant Sky Screamer replace this building behind the game's gallery
Although that building could be relocated, I kinda doubt it would. It's position in the park is extremely convenient. That's the games warehouse so prizes are restocked from there daily during summer ops.
The Sky Screamer trend is kind of dead but I think Fling/trudy's would be a more likely location. Gives the park the perfect excuse to widen that midway.
With Rakshasa, both sides of Country Fair have this weird choke point where the midway is a bit narrow.

Jackglass, is there anywhere were El Toro could fit in the park? I assume no without several ride removals, can you show us if it replaced demon? I once read on some forums that it could fit in the plot of Demon and the former Splashwater falls
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.

The former Splashwater Falls plot is occupied by X Flight, which is not going anywhere.

Sure, it's more likely than not that an El Toro clone isn't built at SFGAm, that thing has received buckets of high praise. Bringing that here would be a dream, even better than Viper. When a guy's named his channel after a coaster, you know it's a d*** good coaster. Need I even explain more?

Replace a Looper with a Looper I say. Plus Lap Bars are great
For sure it could, I just doubt it would ever happen because the park is obsessed with keeping Demon alive. Intamin Megalite/looper would be a dream for me. Or even a Mack.

Superman is a good candidate if they're not retheming it to fit the land

Superman isn't going anywhere! Still quite popular. But Little Dipper and the Go Carts can go to make room for something! I still want a Screaming Swing and a Windseeker here!
They could build the tallest Screaming Swing (taller than Finnegan's Flyer at Busch Gardens Tampa)
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

I'm still not sure about Little Dipper going tbh, Go Karts? yeah that thing's done in less than 5 seasons

GreatAmericanFox - I just can NOT stand Little Slipper! And I rode it several times at its original location when I was 9. Super inefficient with no gates for each row, train stops 100 feet before the station, etc.

Damn, you don't gotta bully Little Dipper like that lmao, i hate it as much as the next guy but i don't see it going defunct soon, and if it does hopefully it gets sent to another park because i know getting rid of it would be a bad PR look, especially since they made a big deal out of saving it in the first place.

Honestly, now that I've ridden DC Rivals, I'm seeing a lot of potential with Mack doing a giga. That ride is so good, it's easily the best coaster in Australia. What I'm getting at is: I wouldn't mind the giga coming from them if it were ever an option.
Honestly, any of the three would be epic. I've always wanted B&M to do it cause of their quality but Intamin would deliver a far more intense experience.

B&M's quality has been kinda falling off from wht i've heard

My first pick would be B&M, but if Rakshasa has a lot of rattle, then Intamin would be my next pick.

Speaking of DC Rivals, I'd be down for a Mack over an Intamin or a B&M if, like DC Rivals, the back row seats faced backwards. I wouldn't mind paying if the fee was under $10, but if this was implemented, hopefully, it would be free and just have a separate queue.
