Among the capital investments currently planned for the 2026 operating season:
Carowinds will introduce a record-breaking water ride
Canada’s Wonderland will add a new record-breaking water attraction
King's Island will introduce a new family thrill attraction
Knott’s Soak City will receive a water park refresh and aesthetic enhancements
Six Flags Magic Mountain will debut a first-of-its-kind coaster in North America
Six Flags Great America will celebrate its 50 th anniversary, debuting a new kids’ area, commemorative events and park enhancements
Six Flags Great Adventure will unveil a record-breaking launch coaster
Six Flags Over Texas will unleash a record-breaking dive coaster
Six Flags Mexico will introduce a family thrill boomerang coaster
The capital investments will go far beyond new rides. More than $80 million of the overall two-year spend will go toward food and beverage upgrades, including new restaurant concepts and improved menu offerings.
More information on these and other investments will be shared by both Six Flags and the individual parks as details and timetables are formalized.

The rumor was Vekoma next gen motorbike coaster. It was supposed to be for 2025, but was delayed by new management. https://patents.google.com/patent/US8453576B2/en

Let's go! We are finally getting a refreshed/new kids area, which was what I was hoping for next after Wrath. It is also good to have a confirmation that SFGAm will celebrate its 50th in 2026, which is better in my opinion. With that said, my next prediction is a new coaster for 2029. Both kids areas honestly need a refresh, but I would say Camp Cartoon needs it more. That area only really gets high usage during FF.
They could fix both issues at once. Remove Kidzopolis. Expand the new area into the Go Karts and Wilderness Theater areas. Include Little Dipper in the new area. 
Honestly, they can go either way, i don't mind having 2 kids areas, especially if they're both Looney Tunes themed, the characters are very vast when it comes to their settings so if we have a wooded Bugs area, and a Midwestern Foghorn area, then that would be cool and provide endless possibilities.
However, if it's one big area then i guess hey could bring back the National Park theme, it means the end for Yukon though, but i can realistically see them doing what's presented above. (plus this is how CGA does it) Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

So Six Flags OT is building a record breaking dive coaster. So much for all of Wrath’s records lol.
Honestly a new kids area sounds great. This could be many things. A revamp of an area, a new area all together & countless options for new rides. We could see a new kiddie coaster which I hope having multiple little ones in my family. This is exciting but makes me wonder what is on the table for Hurricane Harbor.

About what I expected to come, hopefully we get a cool 50th anniversary celebration like Great Adventure. But I hope it doesn't end up like Great Adventures 50th anniversary...

I remember people saying that the park would celebrate the “50th season” in 2025 because that’s how the park celebrated their “40th season.”
I guess this confirms the park is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, and not its “50th season.”
I would like to see a Yukon themed family spinner replace the Go-Karts and a Looney Tunes retheme and expansion for Camp Cartoon, along with a small coaster for young children which the park currently lacks.

A giga dive would be perfect for Six Flags Over Texas. That park has alot of potential especially with so many people living in that area
Yeah it’s a fun park, but I had a hard time dealing with that heat. To me the biggest difference in their Mr Freeze rides is that at least STL turns on the Air conditioning! If they add a giga dive and something else, I’d travel back to it. As it probably not. Aquaman was pretty boring and I’d expect Georgia Surfer to be about the same.

Also, even if the SFOT dive is a record breaker, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be better than Wrath could be. I think Dr. Diabolical is better than every other dive except Griffon (never rode SWSD dive or Iron Menace).
As for the new kids area, I think it is a much needed addition to take care of what the park currently lacks. Been to may theme parks, in many countries. However, SFGAm is my home park and I love it!
If they put effort into it, it's a win for me

Jeff Siebert prez of SFFT posted a long time back somewhere that each new Dive coaster SF builds will be one degree steeper than the previous installation. Kinda implied there will be a handful of them.

Right. And we don’t know what other records it will break. I don’t they go to 6 inversions since ours is the first to have 5 so it could only be one record we lose. Records are arbitrary anyways. I sure hope all of YT becomes a kids section. It's really in bad shape, no identity, stinky karts and a broken down CC is pretty sad. I don't want to see a Camp Snoopy clone there considering Great America opened with Looney Tunes. Bring back Fort Fun and open the waterfront again.

Per Sven part of the merger for CF was acquiring year round parks. We can expect big investments in TX and CA. Thanks static for the patent info, that Vekoma concept looks amazing. Great America has great attendance & great business so we'll see investment too.
Some You Tubers have noticed Great Adventure and Magic Mountain leaning into pre Six Flags brand idenities on recent signage. I'd love to see that here! A return to some Marriott era goodeness the way Canada's Wonderland revived Taft Era park design, theming, atmosphere. Has there been speculation on these boards about the expanded entrance and Carousel Plaza? There's so much more developable land there now.
I want to see it when it's done because i'm a little mixed on what's going on with the Front Gate/Carousel Plaza Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
