New For 2025 - Wrath of Raksasha

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I look forward to future construction updates, B&MGuy35! It’s nice to already see construction updates for the off-season. Looks like I know who I’ll be going to for my drone off-season updates this off-season!

It’s possible that SFM could get the coaster in 2026, but if not, my money’s on SFMM. It’s the only plausible option for me.

I'm hopeful the new six flags will bring that beautification you all have been wanting so badly & I def think it needs it too.

With Rapterra nearly complete, the BGW project, & ours needing to be started, B&M has a lot more track to produce so hopefully we're next on the list. But I could see them staying in Virginia for the time being seeing they have two projects down there. We will seeeee.

I do believe the beautification will help make the park more family friendly!

Anybody who was at the park today (8/24/24), was the Rak construction site still fenced off?
I would love to see close up photos or video of the construction site if that area is open to the public anytime soon.

The area was blocked off with a path that lead to the demon entrance and Demon was open!

I appreciate the coverage, it will be nice to see progress in the off season! I hope they set up a construction camera like for Goliath - there are multiple spots the camera could go that would give a great view of construction (Batman, Demon, X-Flight)

I briefly talked with him 6-8 weeks ago about the entrance and he expressed some frustration with the lack of progress, he is one of us! seems like the holdup has not been entirely on the park.

I am genuinely curious how this new entrance will work. If the Security checkpoint is being moved there, is the old building being removed or kept as the new ticket check? I would hope for removal because it's ugly and made of cheap plywood.

If there really are plans to expand Carousel plaza out, does this mean new Guest Services, etc?

I'm really curious as to why they would push the entrance forward in the first place.

Are they pushing entrance forward to increase the "holding area" between entrance and ticket booths?

Only time will tell! It seems like their main goal is to expand Carousel Plaza into that concrete pad in Entrance Plaza. Why they all of a sudden would want to do that beats me. But we will eventually find out

Great video!!! Any idea if the new paint colors on Batman The Ride will be the same colors it already has or different colors?

Nothing but Rapterra track outside of Clermont Steel.

Besides Wrath of Rakshasa, they have two family inverts for 2025.

I work about 20 minutes from the factory so I’ll be driving by every week or so.

Thanks for keeping us updated! Just noticed your location as Mason, so you're super close to Kings Island!

There’s no remaining rapterra track at the plant. It’s all on site with only a few pieces left to be installed before track is complete.

The paint matches Rapterra to a T, so unless they are painting the family inverts the same exact color and producing them before Rakshasa…

I'm curious as well. It seems like one of the points of this whole project was to establish a perimeter. I'm hoping they can recreate the physical six flags, I really enjoyed that and it was fitting. I have no idea what the end goal is for the white structure they have built.

I'm assuming it's to be cohesive with Carousel Plaza in general, but i think it's missing some lights to me

It's definitely to open up more space in Carousel Plaza. But it seems like the project has been delayed until next year. Who knows, maybe Cedar Fair saw the original concept and was like "We can do better" lol but it will be very interesting to see how the final product looks

EDIT: I inserted an image of Giant wheel at Cedar Point over those water slides. I would love to see something like this in the expanded carousel plaza

Interesting ride choice, i'd take if it became a reality
