If they don’t, which I doubt, then Great America doesn’t receive anymore investments, the rides become in worse and worse shape, people stop visiting, and we end up with another SFNO but in the middle of Gurnee.

What are other options they can add besides coasters? I know they can't be stale but they can go a few years without a big big coaster
At most if it fits the area, or they sacrifice an easily removable coaster for another (Superman is my pic, even if it's still popular), then it's good
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

Superman is still VERY Popular with the GP. It's not going anywhere.

YMMV, but I've found the experience a Dive Machine gives to be largely similar to that of a Wing Coaster, with less variety and flow in the layout than a Wing Coaster gives. Imagine a layout like Iron Menace right across the midway from X-Flight... It would perform an abridged version of the same slow, drawn-out maneuvers. It would probably even end up getting painted red (joking, but am I really?). What would be the selling point? A holding brake instead of a wing-over drop? None of what GAm has added since Raging Bull in 1999 has anything close to an inspired or eventful layout (X-Flight comes closest).
TLDR; I think whatever Dive Machine Six Flags has cooked up (short of topping Yukon Striker) will be an inferior version of X-Flight, and will be a traditionally short, half-baked GAm coaster. How about a Surf Coaster instead?

I think if any big coaster were to come to Great America, its going to be leas than a minute and a half unless another coaster gets sacrificed. Because allo of these ideas Of a coaster going over the midway or something is fantasy

Yes i'm aware, all of the coasters are popular with the General public, i just know superman has the 2nd biggest plot out of all of them
Honestly anything i say about not having any more coasters, or at the very least unless something else goes is just pissing you guys off

There’s no right or wrong opinions here because everyone’s got a different one. No need to get upset when someone doesn’t agree with you, it’s the internet! No big deal!
GreatAmericanFox - Everyone is entitled to his own opinion! You can say Superman is your pick to go. Some others on here don't care for it either. I was stating it's not likely it's going anywhere.
My 2 rides to go are definitely Little Dipper and Joker!

I got a couple rides on Pipeline last year. It's a fun coaster and reminded me a little bit of a standup. I'd definitely take it over no coaster but not over the Dive or the Giga (which will replace Eagle)

Alright, maybe they're going to use some of the theming from Buccaneer Battle. Hmm. Would be neat if they reuse BB's station. There are 5 slashes, the word is seven. 5 inversions/elements & I can see 7 across. Maybe this is a dive with a monster theme like a Kraken if they do use the "pirate" theme.

Walk the plank as in DIVE OFF Hmmm…
Maybe a tilt coaster?
That’d be super cool! Six Flags is working with Vekoma again, right? It would be a dream to receive a tilt coaster similar to what is being planned for SF Qiddiya. https://youtu.be/kF3l-yFxKPw?si=e7jtJfnKfxith2tk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote]Six flags Mexico is supposedly getting a tilt coaster and they already have track on site down there.
Has anyone else noticed the sounds are getting closer? It sounds like an eerie underwater echo/sonar. So I'm still thinking we're seeing a sea monster/demon theme taking over BB.

I hear what you mean! “Rakshasas have the power to change their shape at will and appear as animals, as monsters…” < from some article. The newest teaser had 4 claw slashes along with 3 ticks in the audio too.
Someone also brought up the seven across seating. I'm hoping the four slash marks are for four inversions. But it could also be gforces like the Rapterra fact sheet shows. [emoji1744]

This could be my bias of Dive > Tilt, but the Tilt at Six Flags Mexico (if that’s what that track is for. If not, then that totally throws this whole theory off) is only going in because it was supposed to go to COTALand, but it was cancelled or something so Six Flags is buying it for cheaper. As for SFQ, most of that funding is provided by the government. Chances are the government was like “this looks appealing!” and since they had the money, they bought it. Six Flags is just kind-of “slapping their name on it” as Airtime Thrills once said, to draw in more tourists or something. I don’t know.
As for the WTP teaser, it feels great that the park is finally acknowledging BB beyond being closed and it wouldn’t be unlike the legacy SF to reuse props from a previous ride for a new one.
