Interested to see what he means by theming around the ride course..maybe that just means the audio on the lift, who knows! Also excited to see how the creative team will redo the Demon entrance for portal. I’m glad to hear John cares about theming and the overall ride experience.

Yeah that made me reasure about it for a bit, he also mentioned queue stuff so we'll se how that goes
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
Thanks for the shout outs on my interview with John! Whenever I run into him we usually end up having a conversation just like this one (minus prepared questions) so it was nice to get this one on camera! Tomorrow I should be uploading a vlog that has some more information and of course shots of the coaster and trains. Feel free to take any screenshots and share.
If anyone has any questions from today's event feel free to ask, I may or may not have an answer, but here's some tidbits off the top of my head:
- about a dozen track pieces left and associated supports. About a week and a half timeline for track completion - like Goku mentioned, today they were working on electrical and whatnot for the lift. They were also working on the brake run and station. - there's a footer that is 90 feet deep with a 6 foot diameter. It's a low to the ground banked turn somewhere, Dave (forgot last name, corporate project manager) was making it seem like it was the far end of the ride towards X-Flight / food court - on ride photo at the bottom of the first drop - Demon Snacks will retain some kind of food service while also being the gift shop, photo station and exit - Dave mentioned to a different group than mine some kind of "tunnel", I think for the exit. Might make sense with the track between the 4th and 5th inversions taking place where it seems like the exit will be - I overheard Tony Clark telling others that the entrance will be on the other side of Demon Snacks (referring to the south of Demon Snacks) - Today was Tony Clark's first event at SFGAm. He now covers SFGAm, MiA, and retains Cedar Point. He's from Milwaukee and grew up going to SFGAm. He operated Whizzer at 16. He seems to enjoy being back, "full circle". - Two of the three trains are on property. The last one is on its way, somewhere within the US right now - The red seatbelts / more accommodating seats will be the middle seat of rows 2 and 3 on each train (none for row 1) - Front row of each train will have the ride logo - It was touched on in both my interview with John and already in this thread, but the park stopped short at confirming specific theming elements. They indicated there will be some in the queue, station, and on ride (could be audio and not something physical). Seems like not everything is set in stone yet. Someone asked Rachel Kendziora (social media & digital content for the park) who Rakshasa is, and she said that we will become familiar before we ride. To me, they way she said it implied we are in for something good! - unsure if there will be a merge or not for Flash Pass, also unsure if it will be a 1x only or unlimited. John reiterated it probably won't open with Flash Pass. - The switch from lockers to bin system started with talking to SFFT , seems like they were not thrilled about their lockers. No metal detectors. - Speaking of SFFT, it's already been pretty much confirmed, but it was reiterated that Dr. D was originally a concept for SFGAm - Ride cycle about 2 minutes, they are hoping for 30 second dispatches (I'll believe that when I see it, prove me wrong!) - There will be netting. They have some ideas of where some will need to be, but they still have to figure out some other areas that may "empty pockets" - John mentioned a few times about working with creative teams from corporate for various aspects (Wrath, Demon portal, merch). He seems to like their ideas and seems like a good relationship. I imagine these are Cedar Fair-like ideas. - I knew others were going to ask about queue and entrance, so I didn't in my interview. Tried to bring fresh questions to the table. I never really heard anything about the queue all day, and I only heard about the entrance once (mentioned above). - EDIT: typed this up before Marcus released his video. There may be more information in there.
May be forgetting some things but that's all that is coming to my mind right now.

Skyhawk at Cedar Point is so fun. Not to mention these things have a pretty good capacity when running both sides.
Yes I meant a Screaming Swing by S&S! Busch Gardens Tampa has the tallest one (Finnegan's Flyer)! Super awesome airtime on both ends of it!
As for a Skyscreamer I like those too! I've been on several of them including one ride on Texas Skyscreamer! And I would also love a Windseeker here as well!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

Windseekers look too safe in my opinion, hope for a sky screamer

iROC may make rerides tough park ride (totally should have asked if iROC is on its way)
Yeah It seems that it's much easier to score rerides at Six Flags parks than Cedar Fair parks......
Now with Cedar Fair running the show I really hope they get rid of all the turnstiles at the exits and put in large gates that open! Will definitely improve capacity

I would have honestly thought the entrance was gonna be on the north side of Demon Snacks with a queue leading to a pad of switchbacks in the same spot as Battle's old queue.
Now it's looking like it'll be on the south side.
So now I'm back to not having a damn clue how the queue will be laid out, because if they really are putting switchbacks in the same spot as battle, the exit will need to cross over somewhere to get to the shop.

They said the entry portals for Wrath and Demon would be across from each other.
This is my best guess: Green = Wrath queue line Red = Wrath exit line Purple = Demon queue line
Pretty sure the Park President let slip they were using that Battle queue area as well.
I knew that was almost a given since we saw vertical construction of the final turn and station.
That entire area is dead, perfect place for queues.
What worries me is there's no signs of any foundations over there, so let's not get too excited for indoor walk through theming like Dr. Diabolical. At least not yet.
I did notice they started clearing that area and leveling it, though.
I can confirm that iROC will be implemented at the park this season. Not a heavy Facebook user, but check the official iROC page soon. I believe they are going to post about their recent visit to the park.
