Personally in my opinion, Great America should go back to the family park model, don't get me wrong i like some of the additions Six Flags put in, but I also feel that they sucked some charm out of the park in doing so. Great America was always built on trying to be the next Disneyland, sure most parks around that time were doing the same, but something about Great America back when Marriott owned it (and for a while with Six Flags) they seemed like they cared, with the shows, rides and ofc theming and immersion. But along the way Six Flags stopped caring and started placing Rollercoasters wherever. I get that they needed money after Bankruptcy in the 2010s, but it came at the cost of killing off a lot of the theming. I'm glad some of it still remains but i hope they begin to embrace it instead of killing off more parts of the original park just for a stupid Dive coaster or raptor.
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
