The Dark Knight Coaster (emphasis on dark)

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Some may have read the most recent Passholder Announcements email sent by the park.
"Ride a Coaster in the Dark
THE JOKER has another trick up his sleeve to make sure you don't see what's coming. Located in Orleans Place, THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster is an unpredictable experience that will leave even the Caped Crusader completely in the dark.

You'll start your harrowing journey in the underground rail station, feeling the dread, adrenaline, and unexpectedness that comes with being a citizen in GOTHAM CITY. Without a single bulb to light the thrills ahead, you'll rise up three stories and race through 1,200 feet of steel, including six 180-degree hairpin turns, all while dodging the criminal mayhem."
If they're actually removing/turning off all the effects and marketing it as a positive change and this isn't simply a poorly written blurb, would be laughable. That's quite possibly the most Six Flags thing imaginable.

Don't think that's what the meant, just a weird way of wording it. It's reference to the Joker coaster having another ride that's in the dark, aka the Dark Knight. I don't think they are actually turning off the effects and lights.
