Way too early 2020 predictions!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

In terms of land acreage that a power splash takes up, it would need a 535 ft long stretch of land for the track. V2 only stretches 370 ft long.

They could however fit a power splash in that area if they to remove both V2 and Yankee Clipper. One of the spikes can fit in between Logger's Run station and the Yukon Territory boardwalk area, while the other spike can be located across from the "bridge" that separates Mardi Gras and Yankee Harbor, also near the entrance to Picnic Grove.

Keep in mind this isn't total track length I am talking about, this is just the amount of land that it needs.

Yep, I was on Yankee Clipper at least 2x this year! It's the better ride in my opinion because you get more wet and prefer the straight drop on it.

Both flumes have been open this year but it seems YC has been closed as of late. It’s completely drainer yesterday like I it was during my previous visit two weeks ago. But the visit before that both were open.

Ok, hold on...

Let's look at the past 10 years of new additions.
2009- Buccaneer Battle
2010- Little Dipper (relocated)
2011- Riptide Bay (last HH addition)
2012- X-Flight
2013- IgNight Stage
2014- Goliath (RMC masterpiece)
2015- Family rides
2016- Justice League
2017- Joker
2018- Mardi Gras Hangover
2019- Maxx Force

I think this year will be a Giant Discovery (Giga).
Looking at the pattern of the attractions in the last ten years, its gonna be a Giga Discovery
I wonder what will happen if they ever RMC Beast.

So where would they put the discovery? U don't think we've seen any survey markers indicating potential areas for an addition like this. The only thing I can think of is replace Revolution with this.

Both loggers and yankee are drained daily so they aren’t in use then they are empty.

If it does turn out to be a Giga Discovery... they did a great job throwing all of us off with those teasers

They could put a discovery in Bucky's spot, but I know all y'all would rather see a low capacity shoulder bruising raptor in that spot! [emoji23]

They both worked at the beginning if the year. Then a lift belt broke on Loggers and that shut it down for a fee weeks. Then Clipper had some issues (I think the air brakes up top). They both work now, but only Loggers is open because staffing. I still think Clipper is better than Loggers, though I love Loggers queue.

Maybe it is a hint for what parks like Over Texas are getting, for example they had Mack rides in the teaser and Parts for the powersplash have shown up at SFOT according to RCDB, or someone will get an RMC, an Intamin and SFOT will get the mack coaster as in "you won't be seeing double"

Seems pretty unlikely. I know Cedar Fair does stuff like that sometimes, but has any Six Flags park ever done teasers that were about any other park?

Parts are already at SFOT, there are photos of it. I really Don't see us pulling a 2017 & getting the same thing as them. Unless it will be shared with the water park as a HH addition as well. Idk. I really think we need a water park year. It's not a bad thing.

I'm also surprised no one is talking about Six Flags Qiddiya. But I guess that's because everyone is actually staying on topic haha.

i was gong to bring it up yesterday. can you believe that death contraption they're calling a coaster? it's like one of the hills dropped from like a thousand feet into a tight curve at the bottom with no banking.. i mean i build those elements to kill peeps in RCT3 but go off i guess.

This seems like a huge scam tbh. But we'll see. The animations for the ride are horrible btw. [emoji23]

Did any of you see that Super Manege at La Ronde on it's closing day, someones harness broke off the ride on the lift hill causing it to be closed the rest of its closing day...

^ Well that’s because it is.

And about the new “Six Flags Park’s” coaster yeah that whole thing defies the laws of physics it’s self. Thank goodness it’s just a concept because if that was the real coaster ... oh geez.

I had a good day at LaRonde a number of years back, it depends what the crowds are like. Their Goliath is a pretty kickass ride.

Those foreign parks are just using the Six Flags name. Six Flags doesn't own them or invest any cash into them.

If Falcons Flight gets built, it will be the rich Middle easterners who own the park paying for it.

Do you guys have any idea who it would get built by? I'm guessing intamin from the animation.

Tsunami Surge and Tidal Wave sound amazing, it looks like I will have to visit both Hurricane Harbors next year.

I agree, the track looks like the new age Intamin track.

RMC has already stated that the T-REX can go 500 feet. But I don't think Intamin has ever commented on the 500 foot barrier.
