Maxx Force coming to Six Flags Great America in 2019!

GURNEE, Ill. — August 30, 2018 — Six Flags Great America, the Thrill Capital of the Midwest, today announced a revolutionary, triple-record breaking, new roller coaster coming to the park in 2019. Maxx Force will be the fastest launch coaster in North America, and feature the fastest inversion and highest double inversion of any roller coaster in the world. “Six Flags reigns supreme for record-breaking, one-of-a-kind rides and world-class thrills,” said Six Flags Great America Park President Hank Salemi. “The new Maxx Force coaster is in a class all by itself, launching riders from 0 to 78 miles per hour in under two seconds. No other coaster in the country accelerates at that blistering speed.” Maxx Force highlights include: A unique air-powered launching system propelling guests forward at record speeds; The world’s highest double inversion at 175 feet above the ground; The fastest inversion on any roller coaster in the world with a 60 miles-per-hour zero-G roll; Five high-speed inversions; and One-of-a-kind custom coaster trains modeled after Formula One racing cars Maxx Force will be the park’s 17th roller coaster and is scheduled to debut in summer 2019 in the Carousel Plaza area of the park. I just wish we got a better look at the overall layout. But yeah it looks insane. I love how it interacts with the train. This thing will dramatically change our skyline that's for sure.

I hate to be that guy but I think we should let the park announce the coaster first before making a thread for it.
That does look amazing though.

This looks pretty good. Appears the launch actually goes underneath the train tracks. Can’t wait to see the full layout and stats for this.

WTF! Looks like the designers were just let out of an insane asylum and I approve! Welp, construction season just got a lot more interesting! Can't wait to see the full pov. Hoping there's some sort of airtime somewhere. I see a nice pop in the beginning so that's gonna be something

The video kept replaying the same inversions and maneuvers lol. I hope there's more to the ride than that.

That first "pop" of airtime will probably be some of the best airtime in the park. Coming right out of an insane launch? :D

The park is gonna get a lot of lawsuits for passengers falling out of the tube upside down :/

I was hoping it would be white and black. I kind of wish it was more air time focused instead of inversion focused.

I feel this puts the nail in the coffin for V2. Bravo Six Flags. I feel like you'll have a hard time finding anyone upset with this addition.

I do really like the colors too. I also agree that I think we'll be saying bye bye to V2 soon and not to Demon since this ride gets pretty close to it.

This is gonna sound petty but all my friends said it was gonna be a water coaster while I said launch coaster; I can't wait to laugh in their stupid faces tomorrow!!

On the downside, this ride (like legit every other newer ride in the park) looks too damn short. But I like to think of it as quality over quality. That first loop though!!!!
SOOOO HYPED!
They say there isn't a spot in the park where rusting metal or peeling paint is at least 15 feet away from you.
