I ended up not using my snap too much. I stuck more to my normal camera. The Sony Rx100 kills the phone even though it can't zoom that much. If you watched the video above then don't expect too much, the progress is the same. The only difference is you get to see it at a new angle.
Wow!! Thanks for the pictures! I like how the station is going to look and how some supports look like they go through it. I hope the park does a good job with making the sign look nice and the queue to have somewhat theming. Again, can't wait to see trains! Anything new at the park you could notice?
I think if the park got an awesome station welcome message about boarding the ride, it'll be even cooler. Something about racing and starting your engine lol. The station kinda reminds me of a pitstop not sure why.

It's pretty intimidating but since I've been to Cedar Point it's like child play in terms of scale. But you can see from almost anywhere in the park so it's a nice reminder of just how large it really is.

Not too much, Carousel Gifts is unchanged on the outside, Pictorium sign and all of it's canopies are still intact, some stores now have Dining pass snacks all in one spot so you know what the pass is valid on, and Bull yellow train looks like it got new lapbars. There's nothing super note-worthy so I didn't remember it all. I mainly focused on the Maxx Force area before ditching the park from the cold.
Here's the train status: (I'll copy this to Minor updates)
SFGAM_Hog wrote:Also, in one of those pics, it looks like Superman is starting to get repainted!
At the park today and rode it. I wish I got a picture but it was really difficult to tell if it was painted. That turn leading to the lift was always in the best shape.
SFGAM_Hog wrote:Oh. I thought the yellow rail was being repainted as it turned out of the station because it (the yellow paint) just ended right before the lift.
Great Adventure and Over Georgia eliminated the yellow when the rides were repainted.
It's nice to see everything from above now it's easier to visualise it all. I wonder how big the queue will be and where it'll sit since there is still a hill next to the station. Is the section of missing track between the brake run and the station the transfer track? I feel like that station is pretty small if they were going for a double loading platform.
SaveTheWAVE wrote:Does Maxx Force’s launch look as physically short in person as it looks in photos?
I now see what you mean. From the Sky Trek vantage point, the launch looks very, very short, assuming it starts after you clear the train tunnel and ends just before the bunny hill.
