Single Day Ride Counts

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby CoasterRiderSC on September 9th, 2016, 2:14 pm
Was wondering what everyone's personal best is for a single day in terms of ride counts, with and without a Flash Pass?

For me
Without Pass - 41 rides 8/19/2016 (Coasters After Dark)- at beginning of day I hit Logger's Run for 10X in a row because it was a walk on!!

With Platinum Flash Pass - 51 rides 7/15/2016 (a very busy BAFF day) - we hit most of the coasters like 6x or 8x!! Lesson learned if you're going for big numbers: Viper takes too long to load/unload and so does Whizzer

I don't think I've ever really kept count, but I'm sure there times in the 20-30 range, most notably during Last Blast.

I got around 30 rides on a May week day in 2014 without a flash pass. However the day after the Hawks won the cup in 2015, I got 35 rides at Kings Island without a fast lane. That day was awesome.

I don't know the specific number, but I think one of last year's Discover ERTs got me 13+ rides on Bull without leaving my seat, in addition to the rides I rode earlier in the day before the ERT. However, with the Warren Private Event, I think it might just change.

I went with my friends (they had passes, I didn't) but it was a BAFF day, and was busy AF. But we got gold flash pass and got on everything with ease. Goliath was sadly closed for scheduled maintance day, so everything was a longer wait. We got 20 rides in including giant drop and king chaos

My personal best was 31 rides without a Flash Pass back on a rainy day in May of 2011. I got 4 each on Batman, Raging Bull, and Little Dipper for specifics. I've come close since, but I honestly don't see myself topping that especially since I don't get the Flash Pass and I don't go as often as I used to.

WOW!!! This is amazing!! Can I guess your fave ride is Raging Bull??? I don't think I'll ever hit 41 w/o FP again, but who knows!!

Here's my ride counts breakdown: My 2 non-coasters were Fiddler's Fling and Big Easy Balloons (to dry off after the 10 Logger's Run rides!) I skipped Demon due to the long wait times for the VR and I skipped V2 as well. I managed to get 3 rerides on my 2nd Batman ride (waited in line 2x and got 5 rides)

Eagle 3
Goliath 5
X Flight 3
Whizzer 0 (was down when I went to ride it)
Roaring Rapids 1
Dark Night 2
Superman 3
Raging Bull 5
Viper 2
Batman 5
Logger's Run 10
Others 2 (Fiddlers Fling and Big Easy balloons)
TOTAL 41

My best ride count might have actually been at Kiddieland. I marathoned Little Dipper like 20 times in a row once, plus other rides, so I probably went on around 35-40 rides that day :D .

And change it did. Here's my complete list of what I did today:

Raging Bull x6 back
Whizzer x4(x1 back)
Viper x7 back
Demon x1(VR New for 2016)
V2 x3(x1 back)
Batman the Ride x2 back
American Eagle Blue x1 back
X-Flight x1 front
Goliath x22(x8 back)
Justice League x1
Giant Drop x2
Chubasco x1
Rue le Dodge x1
Triple Play x1

53 rides, 4 shows, and a travelling museum. I think the longest I waited was 2 trains for Whizzer. It was a phenomenal day today.

That's it? :P I was expecting you get to get over 100, at least 70 rides rides

I would've skipped the shows, if I were you

GuyWithaStick, nice work on that record setting day! 53 rides AND t he 4 shows! I kind of agree with RollingCoasting that you could have skipped the shows and probably put up 70+ rides. That record is gonna stand for a while!

Is it safe to say Goliath is your fave ride?

BTW, I didn't see Superman or TDK in your credits :)

Goliath is my favorite in the park, yes, but Voyage is my overall #1.

And yeah, I didn't do TDK or Superbland. The only reason I'd go to Orleans Place is either for Rue le Dodge, or to get to HTS from Yankee Harbor.

Forgot to post this

During Halloween 2016, I got on Viper (3x in a row), Raging Bull, X-Flight, and Goliath (Back-row) via SRL all with in less than half an hour. Not very impressive stat-wise, but amazing how much I was able to do in so little time.

Yup. People were right, NOBODY goes to the park on Halloween night. Plus the fact that it was a Monday I'm sure made it even less crowded. The only downside was that X-Flight's crew was pretty slow, but Goliath's EMPTY single rider line made up for it. If I remember correctly I was put in either the last or 2nd to last row. I had very good luck with my placements in Goliath's SRL in 2016.

So my best day was actually this past year, the 15th of June, it was a Wednesday.

Started out my day on V2 right at park opening,

V2 - 13x
Roaring Rapids - 1x
Dark Knight - 1x
Raging Bull - 1x
Demon - 17x
Rue le Dodge - 1x
Loggers Run - 2x
Batman - 5x
Scenic Railway - 1 loop
Spacely's - 1x
Goliath - 3x
Viper - 2x
American Eagle Red - 10x
Giant Drop - 2x
X - Flight - 1x
Justice League - 1x

So I guess that's a total of 62 rides in a day? Weird part was that I didn't get nauseous at all. Could have gotten a lot more if I just stayed on Eagle or Demon but we wanted to ride a variety of rides.

^ Nice work Jerry!! I've never ridden V2 more than 2x in a row. What does 13x in a row feel like? Or Demon 17x?? Wow!

I forgot, but I also got on Justice League in that time period. My jaw dropped when I saw the EMPTY queue, and the flash pass attendant told me "Better ride it now, this is the shortest you'll ever see it"

Since I wasn't able to make any visits for a full day this past season, I didn't keep track of my ride counts. Also I only kept daily counts so I could add them to my seasonal running count. So I don't have any documentation of the individual days.
Check out my Coaster vids

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P
