JaminOut wrote:Pertaining to your question about next week, it's bring a friend free days. The park will be packed and lines will be long. I suggest going Monday because that is the first day of school for Illinois (certain areas). Arrive around 9:30. Once the park opens, run to Goliath. After that I would gage the crowds to see if a regular (100% wait) or gold (50% wait) flash pass is necessary. Enjoy!

Are you kidding me? Next week is BAFF too?? Wtf. I was planning on going after school on Wednesday.
And tomorrow is the last day of it. Kinda odd that it's only Monday-Thursday and not Friday. Oh I wanted ask how were crowds yesterday and today? Better or worse than Monday.
I think it's true. I got a email on August 4th that said pass holders and members can bring a friend for free on August 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25. But the pass holder guide only has August 15-18. The days next week should of been on it.
I've been checking those queue sites most every day since they were posted on this forum and our park consistently has the most long lines out of just about every park listed. Fiesta Texas was up there one day. But you look at Magic Mountain, SFOT, and Great Adventure and the Batman line is always a walk up for the most part while our's reads 55 min on a daily basis(15 min has generally been a walk up in my experience at our park). The other Pretzelman clones also have short lines at other parks. At these other parks it's only the one or two star attractions that have lines over half an hour like Twisted Colossus, X2, Nitro, things like that(and I haven't seen any of them go over 70 min). Eagle keeps listing at 15 min. Demon was 85 the other day. X-Flight is always up around 70. Viper around 30. I'm guessing this is without them factoring in all the flash passers? Goliath has actually been listing around 30-60 minutes a lot of the time. I think there was a 120 in there one day. Justice League is averaging 100+. Pretzelman usually the same as Batman. Raging Trimbrake 35-55. Roaring Rapids has been over an hour a few times. V2 has been hovering around 30 mins. Cedar Point's lines have been much more reasonable than our's except when half the rides are closed. The longest I saw one day was Millenium Force at 60. Sea World Orlando's coasters have been steady at around 15 min. Busch Gardens coasters are like that too except for Cheetah Hunt and Sheikra around 30-45. Scorpion was 30 min the other day which seems odd. The family stuff at the Florida parks would have lines double or triple the length of the coasters.
So it seems these horrible lines are somewhat unique to our park, rendering it pretty useless from mid-July til the end of the season unless you're willing to spend for Flash passes. However, there was the one person who tweeted SFGA and said how they had a day with awesome weather and short lines a couple weeks back. I think it was on a weekend too. Hopefully I can get another good day in this month and a couple good FF days, but I'm not very optimistic.
Thank you for the feedback! Regarding BAFF....My Six Flags app listed it this week and next week. This morning, I checked the app again and they removed it for next week. I know it was there yesterday. Now it shows Bring a Friend for $14.99. Hopefully this is not as popular and will help with crowds next week.
So they changed it then? Because in the website it still says August 22-25 are BAFF. That needs to be change to BAF 14.99. I don't expect the park to be very busy. Hurricane Hurbor won't be open until the weekend.

If it's anything like last Monday, lines and crowds will be brutal. Last Monday was a Bring A friend Free day, as is tomorrow. Tomorrow is supposed to be 79 and sunny.
